I wish I could make an imp-sona but my art style is stick figure and I don’t have a lot of things I can base it off of. And what do I mean by “stick figure” I just draw a stick frame and put a body around it simple as that. If there’s any advice you can give me on what I should do if I want to make an imp-sona as well, that would be great

I feel like you've developed the helluva boss world more than vizipop has ngl. Whenever I'm watching the show, I'm always confused about some things and especially how the heck striker is an imp if he looks like the shark demons. Seeing your designs bring me so much joy bc they're so thought out and well done, you can see the love put into them. I do enjoy the og designs but I always felt like something was missing with them and vizi's story overall, world feels lackluster.

I have my own personal headcanons about a imps. It’s that they might be descendents of cherubs and whatever ancient hell natives from wrath. A good majority of cherubs are goat/sheep like and they might have mixed with a snake like ancestor due to the hissing and tongue of the imps. The horns and hooves are what’s left of the cherub ancestry.

Or that too much bile in your system would make you more fearful and jealous. Doesn't have anything to do with the green American money, especially considering the 'green eyed monster' was mentioned... in Shakespear, as a direct translation. So yeah, technically the Envy ring should be full of more... 'sickly' characters, or heck, have all of hell's hospitals.
As a furry who also likes sea monsters, we don’t really have a name other than that lol, some people say “scaly” (Though that really only applies to sea monsters with scales, also it can be used with snakes so it isn’t a great term, but either way I hope it helps!)

Really really love the new sona! A Seahorse is a great choice for a water creature I'd probably mix a sloth and gluttony species for myself. But it feels impossible to find references for either :c
I like to think that gluttony imps look more like ants (but the females have wings while the males don't) and sloth imps are super small and have flat tails and furry bodies along with square based horns
I'm pretty sure Striker being so pale is probably because he is Sun Faded, kinda hard to say because I'm sure Imps have skin not fur nor paint. Anyways I have been thinking of making a Impsona, but more likely a Loan Shark sona given Greed has shown to be basically just the American East Coast I was born in Binghamton New York

for my oc, i dont really like coming up with completely new characters, or basing them off myself, i really just use my mascot Mocha in different versions. He's a pudgy ragdoll cat, so the only thing that made sense to me was... putting some horns on him and there ya go. However it was the time that season 2 came out, and i kept getting remembering that one pug form the lunas adoption flashback.... and the colors and color placement kinda matched too, so that made it: hell Mocha is now a pug hellhound!

Mainly a bunch of neons, neon city, succubus race Envy - ??? Sloth - Pink, cloud city, goat race
This video is weirdly comforting to me since Ive put a crap load of thought into my own sona and how he'd live in different media i love. I made him fun to draw and fun to write, but i always feel weird about it since i dont wanna seem vain or self obsessed. So seeing an artist i look up to make a video all about her sona and the lore around them is incredibly inspiring and reasurring to me! (Also Envy being on top of lust gives me major hollow knight city of tears vibes! Happy my hyperfixation can be useful XD but also yay I've always wanted to share my character design knowledge as alot of my classmates in college didnt understand the importance of lore and research
I still think anything is improved when given a snoot :D Also, seahorses are just fish in landscape mode :p I'll also note, always have an interesting relationship with per-fur-imp-sonas, rarely are they ever a close 1-to-1 with me. What ends up happening is that I'd have several characters that represent a single 'aspect' of me, or some sort of neuroticism, or even a part of me I want to mock. There's a 'sona' character thats practically a buttmonkey, a kind of pathetic character that is still just terrible enough that you enjoy seeing their comeuppance, but not terrible enough for you to actively go out and 'defeat' them. Still, absolutely love the redesign, and I think the 'avatar' you had earlier on is cute. Having 6 poses is enough. I mean, have you 'seen' the Phoenix Wright series? One of my favorite characters literally only has 4 animations but he's so EXPRESSIVE.
As a newbie editor, the time I hear "I edit by myself" I aways think "PLEASE LET ME JOIN!!! ;-;" But the new imp oc is so gorgeus, I love it! Aka: I dont know why, in my mind it make sense if maybe the envy ring has plant monsters as citizens.

My mind demands me to headcannon dump. Forgive me. Since Striker is a hybrid. Im pretty sure he was talking to Blitzø about being better than other imps because they are both hinted to be hybrids. (His mother doesn’t have gendered imp horns and due to Blitz’s personality he’s probably part succubus?)
Ehhh, I don’t think the way Blitz acts leads credit to him possibly being part succubus simply due to how sexual a lot of the characters are. But I do agree with your headcanon. I do think Blitz’s mom is possibly part succubus though, not 100% succubus obviously since she looks completely like a imp besides the horns and she doesnt have ears nor wings. So I’d say Blitz is most likely 1/4th Succubus if we’re saying he isnt a full-blooded imp. So he’s still a imp, just with a little succubus blood too. As for Striker; We know he’s part imp and I know him being half shark is a popular theory but since we’ve now seen snake demons, I’m pretty sure he’s part snake instead?? Unless if he’s part-snake, part-shark, and part imp at the same time but he doesn’t really look like hes a mix of all three.

this is a bit late, but to answer your question about marine anthros, furries can be any anthropomorphic animal! its not just restricted to mammals (or even vertebrates for that matter, i love me some insect furries hehe). while some people do split up different types of animal into different types of furry (like scalies for reptiles), it really doesnt matter honestly. an anthro animal is an anthro animal, yknow?
Even in the more recent episodes, background Imps don't follow the "hair rule" that fans seem to assume is a thing. Its a commonality that male imps usually have white hair and female imps usually have black hair, but that isn't a rule. Also, hair dye exists in Hell, so Imps can really have any hair color they want.
My impsona is half succubus and sea shark imp, she was born in the Greed ring but because living in greed sucks and the only way to thrive is be rich, a mob boss or both. So she moved to the lust ring which is a lot better than living in greed
ive made five ocs. yes my first oc's family worked at buckso's circus(bug nether parent was from greed or pride. mother was from lust and father from wrath.) but my favorite is actually for an Au i use for escapesim. her name is molly and is moxxie's run away twin, fleeing to lust after their mother died, was raised by asmodus who originally just took her in untill he found her homebut grew attached. she then met he boyfriend Dante, a hellhound, an ended up having hybrid twins named hunter and ophila, hunter looks more like an imp but his hair grows faster, has legs like moxxie and his grandma, the hellhound smell ability. his sister ophila looks more hellhound like but with imp horns and scars white like imps under her fur. they are both 2 an half years old. i have yet to draw them. oh! also dante is a great stay at home dad, no trauma causing from him.
I want to try make my own Impsona, but I'm afraid I would try to hard and add far more than necessary, plus incorporate elements from Lust when I don't really have that sorta... "side"? I'm just rambling now about my own flaws and lack of will.

I like how you made a hybrid because you are a mixed kid. But also for personality. I am kind of the same as you because I'm a pretty patient person and it takes a lot for me to get angry, but when I do it kinda blows up and I'm also a jealous and envious person and I might do an envy and lust impsona because not because I'm into lust, since I'm more of a romantic than anything. One question ive always had about imps in show is that there native to wrath. Wrath is a desert region with seeningly little to no trees so why do the have prehensile tails? Prehensile tails woupd only really benefit creatures that in live trees so why do they have them?

Pride - Red, modern, not distinct race other than sinners
Wrath - red but dustier kinda orange, wild west, snake race
Gluttony - yellow with pink and blue accents, very 70s (?), bug race mainly bees
Greed - green, reminds me of old noir environments, shark race
Lust - purple? Mainly a bunch of neons, neon city, succubus race
Envy - ???
Sloth - Pink, cloud city, goat race

This video is weirdly comforting to me since Ive put a crap load of thought into my own sona and how he'd live in different media i love. I made him fun to draw and fun to write, but i always feel weird about it since i dont wanna seem vain or self obsessed. So seeing an artist i look up to make a video all about her sona and the lore around them is incredibly inspiring and reasurring to me!
(Also Envy being on top of lust gives me major hollow knight city of tears vibes! I absolutely love your rewrites of hb and hh, i can see so many different types of stories in so many mediums with your world building! It's amazing!)

I'll also note, always have an interesting relationship with per-fur-imp-sonas, rarely are they ever a close 1-to-1 with me. What ends up happening is that I'd have several characters that represent a single 'aspect' of me, or some sort of neuroticism, or even a part of me I want to mock. There's a 'sona' character thats practically a buttmonkey, a kind of pathetic character that is still just terrible enough that you enjoy seeing their comeuppance, but not terrible enough for you to actively go out and 'defeat' them.
Still, absolutely love the redesign, and I think the 'avatar' you had earlier on is cute. Having 6 poses is enough. I mean, have you 'seen' the Phoenix Wright series? One of my favorite characters literally only has 4 animations but he's so EXPRESSIVE.

Since Striker is a hybrid. Im pretty sure he was talking to Blitzø about being better than other imps because they are both hinted to be hybrids. (His mother doesn’t have gendered imp horns and due to Blitz’s personality he’s probably part succubus?)

Ehhh, I don’t think the way Blitz acts leads credit to him possibly being part succubus simply due to how sexual a lot of the characters are. But I do agree with your headcanon.
I do think Blitz’s mom is possibly part succubus though, not 100% succubus obviously since she looks completely like a imp besides the horns and she doesnt have ears nor wings. So I’d say Blitz is most likely 1/4th Succubus if we’re saying he isnt a full-blooded imp. So he’s still a imp, just with a little succubus blood too.
As for Striker; We know he’s part imp and I know him being half shark is a popular theory but since we’ve now seen snake demons, I’m pretty sure he’s part snake instead?? Unless if he’s part-snake, part-shark, and part imp at the same time but he doesn’t really look like hes a mix of all three.

this is a bit late, but to answer your question about marine anthros, furries can be any anthropomorphic animal! its not just restricted to mammals (or even vertebrates for that matter, i love me some insect furries hehe). while some people do split up different types of animal into different types of furry (like scalies for reptiles), it really doesnt matter honestly. an anthro animal is an anthro animal, yknow?
Even in the more recent episodes, background Imps don't follow the "hair rule" that fans seem to assume is a thing. Its a commonality that male imps usually have white hair and female imps usually have black hair, but that isn't a rule. Also, hair dye exists in Hell, so Imps can really have any hair color they want.
My impsona is half succubus and sea shark imp, she was born in the Greed ring but because living in greed sucks and the only way to thrive is be rich, a mob boss or both. So she moved to the lust ring which is a lot better than living in greed
ive made five ocs. yes my first oc's family worked at buckso's circus(bug nether parent was from greed or pride. mother was from lust and father from wrath.) but my favorite is actually for an Au i use for escapesim. her name is molly and is moxxie's run away twin, fleeing to lust after their mother died, was raised by asmodus who originally just took her in untill he found her homebut grew attached. she then met he boyfriend Dante, a hellhound, an ended up having hybrid twins named hunter and ophila, hunter looks more like an imp but his hair grows faster, has legs like moxxie and his grandma, the hellhound smell ability. his sister ophila looks more hellhound like but with imp horns and scars white like imps under her fur. they are both 2 an half years old.
i have yet to draw them.
oh! also dante is a great stay at home dad, no trauma causing from him.
I want to try make my own Impsona, but I'm afraid I would try to hard and add far more than necessary, plus incorporate elements from Lust when I don't really have that sorta... "side"? I'm just rambling now about my own flaws and lack of will.
I can relate of making a sona be so accurate to ourselves can be hard specially to be in a pleasing way to best way to describe uself

I like how you made a hybrid because you are a mixed kid. But also for personality. I am kind of the same as you because I'm a pretty patient person and it takes a lot for me to get angry, but when I do it kinda blows up and I'm also a jealous and envious person and I might do an envy and lust impsona because not because I'm into lust, since I'm more of a romantic than anything. Thanks for these tips and I might redo my impsona.

One question ive always had about imps in show is that there native to wrath. Wrath is a desert region with seeningly little to no trees so why do the have prehensile tails? Prehensile tails woupd only really benefit creatures that in live trees so why do they have them?
