Everyone is complaining about how Pendulum ruined the song but after hearing this I can't stomach the original.. it's so.. bland. This version feels stronger and more beautiful to me. That's my opinion, at least.
Also, they started as a metal band, so this was their dream all along, I'm happy for them. Actually, I never thought drum and bass would live on as it was back in the beginning of the 21st century, I thought it would end up mutating into something arty and horrific. Check out Receptor, Utopia, Dirtyphonics, Misha, Aeph, Fourward, Redco - All new kids on the block, making stuff that even surpasses that of the olden golden.
@brendanmetallica I actually like both equally :P it depends what mood im in, if I want a relaxing tune I can sit and chill to, the original. If I wanna go berzerk and have a crazy rave, Pendulum remixxxxxxx LOVE ALL MUSICCCCC!!!!
Dude, check out Pendulum - Ransom, they're still at it, kinda makes me wonder if they'll start making Another Planet/Masochist type stuff in the future.

Let the new cats do the underground stuff, at the end though, (and I can say this as I've been making music (note: unsuccessfully) for a long time) you get fed up and you just want to take the next step. Because they had smashed all their goals in Dnb, for them, the next challenge was "selling out".
Violet Hill is by no means my favourite Coldplay song, but Pendulum (one of my favourite bands) has just ruined this song so badly. Can't stress enough how bad this is.
