Manly were impressive with a 2nd string line up out there. They have some serious size in their pack.

The NRL have a future of freakishly good players coming through.
I know it's a pre-season game and I give credit to the kid, by all accounts he's a hard worker and a pretty humble bloke considering the hype around him. But the section at @1:20 is what worries me about Sualii. He needs to develop the kind of ethic where as soon as the pass falls behind his back line, he's taking off for the corner. Then, he slows down instead of keeping up the pace when Dom has run down their winger, leaving the pass inside open when he really could have covered it if he'd put the effort in.
Again, very easy to be an armchair critic, and it was 30 minutes into the first half of a trial game which doesn't count for much. But it's a mentality he and the Roosters as a whole are going to have to rekindle if they want to be back in contention.
I was thinking that when i saw the replay. if he didn't take the foot off the pedal, he would've stopped the try. Bit lazy, but with it being a trial I'm not too fazed

Not happy seeing Manly lose but that was the second string side against what looked like a full strength Roosters outfit, and they almost snatched it from them well done boys some really nice play.
But I think manly still lost so whether full strength side youse lost. So manly still the same losers as every year 😂😂😂

Ray Vaega is Jorge Taufua Mk.II
Strong as an Ox, hard to stop from close range and hits like a sledgehammer in defence at times. But he has no speed for a winger and has suspect hands. Sometimes they're good, other times not. And as we saw, he is Jorge under a bomb ... all at sea.

I'm not familiar with attendance numbers, but is the stadium almost completely empty?
There would have been maybe between 2000-5000 there, it looked like the main grandstand was three quarters full.
@@RugbyLeagueHistory I must not have looked properly. On normal highlights the stadiums seem pretty much full.

Same as Bolt: Leg Speed + Stride Length and it's the latter with decent leg speed (Jamaican) iirc.
Apparently he sounds like he's ok after a crushing tackle they took him off and got him checked out at hospital on the neck so fingers-crossed.

Chooks weren’t full strength had a few out and it’s a trial which means absolutely nothing

@@thomasrodwell563 leinu , smith were out . Yeah it’s a trial match teams are trying things out at different blocks on there fitness . Manly went undefeated last years preseason aswell and panthers didn’t win one and look how that turned out
