No disrespect to your feelings and nostalgia value but try playing the previous generations. My first games were Emerald and Sapphire but when I played Fire Red and Leaf Green, my list changed. So look back and you might see the reason why people like other soundtracks more. Even though this is good, some things are just better. . Also, Unova soundtracks and themes are unbeatable.
I put these mixes on in my classroom at school during activities and lunch for the key worker children who's parents are doctors helping out the corona pandemic, they love them, thought you'd be interested to hear the places your mixes get played haha

Kalos has to be one of my favorite regions to play, partly because It's the only one where I can get all my favorite Dragon Types on one game without trading, and introduced some of my favorite Pokemon.
I can't stand hate towards Kalos. Everyone likes MegaEvos, Greninja, legendaries are amazing (my sweet angry beckon Yveltal and squishy Squishy) but when You tell them "I like Kalos" then they start to hate you with "worst region" or "no post game lmao". I can see cons of Kalos (like, acctually, no big post game or "I'm not interested in my own region" champion Diantha), but every region has its own pros and cons. Music is definetely one of biggest pros of Kalos. As well as clumsy proffesor, best filler rival ever (Alain is my poor, lost baby boy) and Mega Chorizo, get back, Charizard, which in the end gain Dragon-typing

Pokemon Y was my first Pokemon game so I have huge nostalgia towards Kalos. I wish it had less hate because the soundtrack is so good.

The gate theme Kalos (and Unova) is very close to being the most underrated track in Pokemon.
