ABOUT SONGLAND
"Songland" serves as a destination for music's biggest stars to find their next hit. The series is an authentic peek into the process of songwriting and provides one winner per episode the opportunity to have their song released by chart-topping artists. Season 2 guest recording artists include Boyz II Men, Florida Georgia Line, Luis Fonsi, H.E.R., Lady A, Martina McBride, Julia Michaels, Ben Platt, Bebe Rexha and Usher. Four songwriters will perform their original tracks in front of the guest artist and three of the most successful producers in music - Ryan Tedder (lead singer of OneRepublic and four-time Grammy Award-winning songwriter and producer), Ester Dean (Grammy-nominated songwriter, producer) and Shane McAnally (three-time Grammy-winning songwriter and producer). In the end, a winner will be chosen and their song will be recorded and released for a global audience.

The song Ben choose definitely fit his voice and style the best and I don't blame him, but I think we can all agree that this was clearly the best song in the episode, and I will riot if it's not released eventually once it's out of contract hahaha

This was my favorite episode of Songland and this, was my favorite song. I have watched it over and over since Kylie sang it last night. I hope she will release this song. I can see it as the theme song of a movie where a couple keeps missing each other, like in "You've Got Mail". Her voice is gorgeous and the images of this song are hauntingly beautiful. I wish Ben had picked more than one song. I need this song in my life, a full version of it! Great job everyone! Love your show!

This is one of the best songs on the show. I understand what Songland is trying to do this year keeping the songs and pitching to other artists, but it just feels like so many songs this year that aren't picked are just gonna die on a shelf somewhere when really the songwriter should have the opportunity to release the song by themselves, given how many viewers want the studio recording. It's a tough one that we can't get any of the studio versions to unpicked songs.
