And yeah, those plums. They're preserved - that's why they look that way - but it's an acquired taste. The better thing to try would have been what we call 'plum chow,' but that's not a dish that would've survived the trip.

Btw. Finland won that war. There's this very proficient marksman/hunter that killed hundreds of Soviet soldiers because he's very good in hiding in the snow and spotting his targets from a very far distance. That's what i remember from a documentary i watched. Please correct me if I'm wrong 😉

We (yes, I'm a Finn) lost a landmass called Carelia and Finland's "left arm" which was our only access to the Arctic Ocean. People say that we won because we were the only country that managed to stay independent when the Soviets tried to invade Finland. All the other Eastern European countries that the SU tried to invade were fully occupied.
