Hey I got a weird question I bought a 98 xv 1100 and bought a led kit for it the led kit has a feature where you can hook up wires to each turn signal and the break and when you hit the turn signal it'll go from what ever color it was on to flashing yellow in that whole side of the bike per which side turn signal you hit same with the break the whole bike lights up red well I can't figure out if I can just tap into the wire harness for each separate turn signal and break wire (which I don't know where that is if you do id appreciateyou telling me please) or If I have to do it a diffrent way do you have any help you could recommend please
Hello, I understand what you're trying to do but I'm not particularly the best with electrics. I think you should be able to tap into the turn signal and brake wires to get the signal to your new Led lights, can't see why it wouldn't work. If you haven't already joined a few Facebook groups then I'd suggest you do...loads of information about upgrades and you can download documents, like wiring diagrams...etc. sorry I'm not much of a help in this.
The one I used is no longer available... But if you search on ebay for 5.75 or 7" headlight bucket I'm sure a few will pop up, that's where I got mine from. Nothing special just a generic Chinese one.. Hope this helps 😉
Hi, i built a virago xv1100 cafe racer. Everything was fine till I installed this kind of head light and a month later my battery died. I live in Toronto Canaada. I am 23 and i am in immigrant low on funds i don’t want to waste any money more than i need to. My headlights have halo and the turn signals integrated. The halo and low beam turn on as soon as i turn the keys even if the fuel pump is turned off. Everything else works just as the stock headlights, the parking lots, liw high beam etc. Could this headlights be the reason my battery is dying? Also i am quite handy and was thinking to clean my carbs myself as it is having idling issues. Should i attempt that? I have never previously worked on carbs before.
Hi there... Early 1100 had a not so great reg/rec which used it's metal body, and the mounting bolts for ground, now if this is not perfectly clean then it will end up failing... I don't think the lights would cause any problems at all, fitted a few in 1100 and they all fine. If you need a reg/rec I recommend this tourmax one which is the upgraded, finned version and also has a separate ground wire, which you can extend all the way to the negative side of the battery.. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Regulator-Rectifier-Fits-Yamaha-XV750-1100-Virago-5-Wire-SH665-12-3LP-81960-00-/114721523646?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286 Now to check the reg/rec you'll need a multimeter and measure the voltage at the battery, on idle should be 14V or more and on around 2500rpm 14.4V if it's more or lower then it's more than likely dead. I suspect it will be less, maybe 12 or 11V which would also explain the bad idling as the ignition system isn't getting sufficient power.... Check this first then go from there. Doing the carbs are not hard, just remember to make a few photos to see how everything is routed etc.. Do 1 carb at the time and go through everything thoroughly.... What many people end up doing is just spray carb cleaner all over, everywhere which will cause even more problems... The only way to do this is a complete (I mean to last washer) strip and ultrasonic cleaning then back to the settings which worked, or stock depending on your mods... Hope this helps 😉🔧🔧👍

Led lights contain blue light which is poisonus to human eyesight.thaths why it hurts when you look into led headlights of oncoming cars in traffic.good job boss
When I passed my car/bike licence I was always told to look at the opposite side of the road and NOT into the oncoming car's headlight. However a quick Google search showed that LED emit some blue light indeed even the white ones, but not enough to be considered dangerous or harmful, they are just bright, that's why looking into it is painful and not recommended whatsoever. My bike's headlight passed the yearly inspection here in the UK called MOT. I specifically asked the tester about it and he said there is nothing wrong with it, the beam is flat and it won't dazzle anyone (I am not a teenager who put HID bulb in a Golf or a Corsa halogen headlight ) I was very careful with this upgrade because I too hate when I get dazzled by oncoming traffic.

@@MidlandCruiser hi you got a link to were I can buy one please
@@zxcvbnm1965100 The one I bought is no longer available but this looks the same, it is a generic unbranded chinese stuff so basically they all the same on ebay. This seems like located in the UK so it cost a bit more: bit.ly/2XZYiE5
What I would suggest and even I might do this winter is going for a 7" one instead the original size like this one: bit.ly/3fl2fJf
This last 7 inch is very cheap, not sure tbh. Basically just search on ebay for either 5.75 or 7 inch LED headlight and choose whichever you fancy. I don't really know about the quality of these 2. Back when I bought mine I was like for the price I don't really care if they break in a year or 2, but it is still working as on day 1. Yes mine also condensate but again for 30 quid...not bothered. Hope this helps
Que bombillas llevas en los relojes.
I use T5 286 LED bulbs in my clocks, they are awesome but they only last a few weeks before they start to flicker, so I need to get some better ones, maybe error free ones are better, I haven't tried them yet. If you get some then get the ones with wide light spread, pointy ones will create hot spots. Hope this helps you out. Sorry I only speak English, used google translate to find out what your question means...
Let's stand there with the light in my hand for 20 minutes.
Sorry but I'm not sure what you are asking, if you are asking at all...Why do you want to hold the light for 20min?
