Hane! Hane! Hane Hane Hane! Part of #BecomingFilipino is experiencing the different local traditions and culture of this amazing country!
In the city of Tanay Rizal, locals use the word "Hane" so signify saying "Cool" or "Awesome" or "Ok!".
It is truly amazing how different towns, cities and regions here in the Philippines have different local words! For me and my home in Cagayan de Oro it is "Tsada"… Tsada Cagayan!
I happened to be in Tanay Rizal for their Hane festival! It was awesome! The way they set it up (this relatively new festival) was perfect! They have a beautiful central park overlooked by an old historic church… around this they places local food booths, fun energetic street dancing, local artwork and an amazing little night Carnival!
This is my "Hane Festival" Experience!
