I have never seen or heard of this. I am stunned! I have never heard of Tina Guo. I've been following Joe for quite awhile now, but I am blown away by this performance. I have thought for a long time that Tommy Emanuell is the king of acoustic guitar but Joe may have taken that crown too. His talent level as a guitarist and vocalist is staggering.
What an amazing duo! Loved getting to see Joe live. He played acoustic all 1st half and electric after intermission = both so epic … truly unforgettable.
The first time I had seen Joe was when I had made a PBS contribution on one of his PBS specials. I was lucky enough to win a meet and greet with him before the show. That was how the first show with Joe was that I saw in 2012. He had 13 acoustic guitars in a semicircle behind his chair. He played 13 songs acoustic, a song with each guitar and he played just over an hour. Then after a 15 minute break he came back with the whole band and played another 90 minutes, starting out with John Henry.
One thing I found out yesterday is that they didn't play it the same way each night ... There was tremendous ad lib plus call return. She said she loved it so much! The whole concert is great.
I've been following Tina Guo for a number of years. She's incredible and quite a workaholic who always seems to multiple projects going at once. She composes as well, and is responsible for writing and performing the main riff from the soundtrack to the movie Wonder Woman.
Nice. Starts with a rendition of Flight Of The Bumble Bee by Rimsky Korsakov, of course, transitioning later. . . . nice rip from Korsakovs work though.
Joe is also a part of a group call Black Country Communion. It is composed of Joe along with Glen Hughes from Deep Purple and the Jason Bonham son of Led Zepplin drummer John Bonham. I would recommend this video. ruclips.net/video/w82V4gsSW-4/видео.html
A technical masterpiece. I think Tina has the more difficult job, and does it brilliantly - slides, punctuation, manic rhythm. Joe is doing basically manic rhythm. Don't get me wrong - I love Joe, but I think more call-out ofTina's performance was warranted....
Okay. This probably isn’t the video for this comment, but I wanted to choose something recent in the chances that you may read my comment, and there is a guitar player in it, although he isn’t really playing what I want to talk about, but….anyway, as a guitarist yourself, I wonder if you know about the creator of the power chord. I am sure you know what it is, but do you know where it came from? I watch a lot of reaction channels, and a lot of them are songs with powerchords, of course, and a lot of them are actually interested in the history of the music they are listening to, as you are. I’d love to see you do a reaction where you learn about the beginnings of the power chord. Check out Link Wray “Rumble” for me? And for you, and your listeners. He deserves more recognition than he gets. Most don’t even know his name. Thanks.
volume will cover somethings up but sing soft and be off Start over ur still rehearsing Im 76 been singing all my life took listen in HS after army I sang back up in a few bands till 84 when the Kids came. U got them They r ur life till they leave home and still u see them as babies. After the twines went off to school I went back to singing with little bar bands. Back in '82 I was working with this girl in Pro RI She grad Brown and was to move back home to DC, She said come with me we can make it. My Love said no. That Girl was Mary Chapin Carpenter. She wanted me to be her back up. But i would not tread what i have today for all of that for i would of never of gotten my girls.
There’s nothing Joe can’t play and his singing is also next leave and how he became a singer you have to watch his channel interview, it was by accident when they couldn’t find a singer and he found out he could sing and that how we get the full Joe Bonamassa by accident lol.
I discovered Joe a few years back, when I saw this performance, I was totally blown away!

DANG...Two Masters of their crafts. Natural talent united with developed skill synchronized into an auditorily delicious delight.

This is Joe's song, you need to see him do it live at Royal Albert Hall. Amazing!!
Oh yes
One thing I found out yesterday is that they didn't play it the same way each night ... There was tremendous ad lib plus call return. She said she loved it so much! The whole concert is great.
That is the sign of a master ,I know a few musicians that do this all of the time ,yet each is perfect .

I saw her accompany Joe in Columbus a little over 10 years ago and they were phenomenal.
This is on another level, brilliant!
You said it - they are "on a whole other level".
Looking so forward to seeing Joe in Seattle in February. Got a couple of tickets and very excited!
Every time I come across one of your videos this is one of the recommendations I think about sending you. Glad you found it!
Great collaboration!
More Beth and Joe please.
❤️Beth ♥️
Oh Yeah ! Talk about shredding in every way .
This whole concert was fantastic. You can find it "Joe Bonamassa at Carnage Hall and acoustic evening". It's an hour and a half of amazing music.
This is a spectacular performance
Tina Guo has a RUclips channel where you can check out lots of her music. and yeah... her electric cello is amazing!
I'm so glad you're learning about all of these awesome guitar players. I feel you've been missing out!!
She wopps the heck out of that cello and it sounds great.
Joe's hands are just a blurr 😮 OMG !!
Tina Guo is awesome!
They are great, reminds me of Rodrigo y Gabriela, try the tune Tumucan, these two are amazing musicians, keep up the great work, 😊
Joes song Drive would be a great review to do.
Yes!!!
Tina Guo played for example on Sabatons "1916" cover.
My favorite guitarists are Joe B. and Gary Moore .
Hey Bro, gotta do Joe's song Drive with Tina. Sooooo good
Just luv Drive...my car song...
Sebs, you want your socks blown off: "MISERLOU - William Joseph & Caroline Campbell feat Tina Guo" Your welcome!
Check out "Drive" by Joe Bonamassa.
Yes please, I love the live version.
Live at this show with Tina is epic. She plays a traditional Chinese instrument and made it sound incredible.
My wife and I attended one of his concerts and when he played this song my wife said, "Man, he is a really sad man!"
Missing out on great guitarist uli jon roth probably where Yngwie got some of his style from must check out his custom guitar also
Nice. Starts with a rendition of Flight Of The Bumble Bee by Rimsky Korsakov, of course, transitioning later. . . . nice rip from Korsakovs work though.
She plays together with Sabaton as well... 😏
This reminds of Vanessa Mae's Storm...
"Flight of The Bumblebee"
There is a song called Let Her Go by a band called Passenger. Would love to hear your take.

Yup, this performance will blow you away!
Sheeiit watch her bow hand, her arm barely moves her wrist is going a hundred miles an hour!!
Great reaction but there so many more songs from Joe B. that you should check out
Damn
How good was that.

Check out Tina Guo & Mia Asano a great looking talented duo
