Hi. I'm a long time viewer and first timer commenter. Publishing a book is easier than it was, there's such a thing as print on demand therefore no need to get 100s preprinted. As for publishing Amazon is easy to get books on. Write your book, get a print on demand company to print them when they sell, sell via RUclips, Amazon, Pateron etc. Low cost startup and great potential. I've a few out there that I've have written on my behalf. Hope this helps, I met you once with my son in a large builders store outside Truro. Keep up the good work.
Hidden gem - Scrade Beach. Can be visited by doing a St Genny's to Dizzard circular walk. It is quite a strenuous walk but the view walking down to Scrade Beach is absolutely breathtaking.
What a pleasant hour and a bit. Like being with old friends...at certain times during the video I wanted to join right in with the convo! Loved the wedding photo and the people from past and present to invite to a dinner party! Think I would have had to have Winston Graham along to ask him all about Poldark of course and a certain Mr.Turner would have had to be there too! But Agatha Christie was a good choice! Love a bit of Poirot and Miss Marple. I used to work for the NHS too Sarah. Retired now. Things have changed a lot, say no more.....you two keep walking and we will all keep watching. Here's to the walks in 2023...looking forward to them. Anything to do with Holy Wells...St. Clethers etc etc and Madron Well would be lovely. x J x
What a fun video - enjoyable to watch with many diverse questions. You came across so relaxed like having 2 friends in for a chat. Keep doing what you do - you do it so well & we look forward to your ‘to do’ list for 2023.
Thank you for all your videos, as a Falmouth girl 6K miles from home and missing it terribly, you bring me mentally home every time! On my last visit home we did the pednvounder beach hike, parking at Treen. I have to admit did not realise it had a nudist element, each to their own :), I managed to get as far as that big rock overlooking the beach but the last climb down beat me. I was uncertain about my ability to get back up! But the views with the tide out the water turquoise, absolutely stunning. Hiked to Porthcurno where had a swim (water baby) and of course an ice cream topped with clotted cream. Then hiked back to Logans Rock, where I scrambled in unladylike fashion but did not manage to the end and then on to Penberth cove finishing with an early dinner in the Logan Rock Inn. All thanks to you two doing this walk in one of your videos, never knew about it before. I think it has to rate as one of my all time favourites!!! Nearly killed me getting back up from Pednvounder mind!!! So thank you and keep doing what you do, you are a breath of fresh air.
Happy New Year Sarah & Andrew!...can't think of a better way to start the new year than with such an entertaining (and informative!) CWT Q & A session. It's kick-started my whole January - thank you! To my mind you have the perfect balance of content/variety in your videos, so please don't change a thing. Cornwall and the Cornish should be so proud of you two for promoting and bringing us all the very best of Cornwall and Cornish culture. Only Cornish born & bred could do what you do, with your cultural, historical and family histories & insights. Keep on doing what you're doing...just love it :)
Wonderful! You two are SO nice. I could see that you were getting more and more tired but you kept going. Thank you for answering so many questions and for showing us your lovely wedding photo. Brilliant.😊🧡🧡👏👏😊
I'm in Cornwall and have found your videos very informative. You have taught me a lot of things I never knew. I don't do much walking and don't venture out much these days, particularly during the summer months, so thank you for all your wonderful videos. Interesting that you met at the Norway Inn. That is just up the road from me as I am in Perranwell. It used to be a great pub back in the day. Visited Poldark Mine back in the 1980s. I am not sure if it is still a tourist attraction.
As a born and raised Cornishman living in Florida for the last 30 years, I must say that I really enjoy your videos brings back so many great memories. I enjoyed this 15 minute video too! Looking forward to all your adventures in 2023 and watching you make your beautiful artwork as well, take care.
Brilliant video! Really enjoyed it! Those splits at the end looked so good … and love the crimpometer!! Thanks for all the work you put into every aspect of your really enjoyable videos each week and for this really fun and easy to watch Q and A! Happy new year!
Come to California!!!!…..🎉🌹 it would be grand to host you! Yosemite my suggestion for a walk….the Sequioa’s is grand! And San Francisco! Absolutely ….thanks for your fun video today…..all the best for you both this year! Ana 🌹
Next time you go to Polperro go to Tastebuds, where David Pengelly bakes the best ever pasties 😋. You’ll need to get there in the morning before he sells out. Thank you for the q and a.
Great video guys really enjoyable, have watched many, just a thought would you like to visit the oldest holy well in Cornwall St Clether, and from there Bude, I am local 👍
I’m moving to callington soon…..we will have to meet for a walk and a cream tea…..bring the pups!!! Your story of meeting and how quickly you got married eg, met my husband knew I would marry him, moved in together after 3 months, bought our first house after 6 months, married after 18 months and we celebrate 16 years of marriage on 25th July! He is my rock and my best friend ❤️
Thank you so much for cheering up my evening, such a pleasure to listen to you both bouncing off each other. Your videos make me realise how lucky I am to live here in my old farm cottage surrounded by daffodil fields at Rose-an-Grouse
Hi Sarah and Andrew, what a great & fascinating video! Here are some of my "hidden secrets" a few of which are not so hidden: Rocky Valley, Luxulyan Valley, Kennal Vale, the Seaton Valley at Caradon Hill. Beaches Rinsey Cove, Pednvaunder, Portheras Cove, Hallane Beach. A fantastic gem I've visited but is dangerous extremely dodgy to get to on foot is the "Prison", near Cligga Head. An amazing looking gem I've never visited is the cave of many colours near Cape Cornwall, I've seen a couple of videos and it looks incredible (Cornish Xplora & Lucas Nott). Re the St Michael's way, for those not keen to walk the full length, I can recommend getting the train or bus to St Erth station, walking along the A30 towards Penzance for half a mile or so, then turning up Heather Lane, which is a pleasant little lane that eventually turns into a footpath and crosses the St Michael's way. You can then either turn left and head towards Ludgvan, Marazion & Penzance, or right towards Trencrom, St Ives & Carbis Bay. Look forward to many more fantastic videos in 2023! Many thanks.
Should do a Fern Pit visit on the Gannel and discuss with the Northey owners history of the ferry at the mouth of the Gannel and further along when it ran many years ago from Tretthelan farm area across to Penpol creek Ah, yes, lady in the cave hopefully not covered in sand during the winter
Happy New Year Sarah and Andrew, it's great to watch your video's and I hope you will be able to continue with them. Really interesting to hear how you make them and the time you invest in the production, Thank you for all this fantastic work. Good luck in 2023. All the best Bob
Hi guys, always enjoy your vlogs. Watching this with a cuppa! Have you been to Trebarwith Strand and the Port William pub on top of the cliff there? Beautiful. Thanks for all you do and keep doing!!! A very happy cornwall local. 😀
Thank you! This year I plan to rent an airbnb in Cornwall for several months and start exploring in detail the walks, history, towns and villages and hopefully persuade my husband to come with me. He loves to fish, preferably ocean fishing so I thought Cornwall might be perfect destination for the two of us with differing interests!😊
Thoroughly enjoyed the video, thank you guys. 15 mins? Over an hour! 😂 I love that you mentioned Mullion as one of your favourite places, it's where I spent my teenage years, Poldhu, Pollurian and Mullion coves 😍. Watching the stormy seas coming over Mullion harbour wall is the best memory! Oh, and Anne's pasties in The Lizard are absolutely the best! High time I got back down there again 😊
Hi, Great videos you produce... helpinh us see the various areas, as we are moving down there in about 12 months time and are looking at areas (going to Stithians next week)... if you do want to do a book, Amazon KDP will print and post out books, from artwork supplied... so no printing or storage to worry about, or up front costs... just the design. Hope that helps... like the other lady said, I'd buy it! - cheers Clive (Currently of Flitwick, Bedford!)
Happy and Healthy New Year Andrew and Sarah thanks for all the great videos and taking the time to make them . Much appreciated by many of us that watch them I am sure.
I love this Q &A session! Very nice! I've been wanting to catch-up because I've fallen behind, lately. Again. Sorry. But, I see that the advertisements shown during the latest ones I've viewed are from Disney!! That IS encouraging! It seems that though YT can suggest and throw the Royal videos at us, Americans, when it comes to other Brits, like your channel or Scottish ones, the views seem to be shadow banned. It seems hinky!
Really enjoyed this guys 👌💝. I particularly loved seeing your fab photos of your time in Florida...such amazing memories for you I'm sure 😊. I hope one day I bump into you on one of your walks, as I love walking... especially around the coast. Always an absolute pleasure to watch your videos and I look forward to the year ahead with you🐾🐾 ✊💞😘
A fabulous and interesting video with wonderful family photos and stories, Cornwall and Scotland have always been our favourite places to go, such outstanding panoramic views, and an air of magic about them! I live in Derby’s which is also stunning itself! thank you 🙏 Sarah & Andrew for transporting me back to places i can no longer reach, I just love the detail and planning you put into your videos, and your beautiful canine friends are such a delight when they accompany you on your walks, have a wonderful New Year both of you, 😊🤗👋
❤️About getting Emmets to Cornwall...Confess.. you are sooo guilty 😱😱😱...Your channel made me sell my house and spend over ONE YEAR in and pretty much all over Cornwall ❤️❤️ ( and two months in Devon ) Allt together 22 months on the road..A great THANK you and much love to you and to everyone I and my cocker Will met ❤️🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️🇫🇮 during our stay...Love to the doggies too...
Happy New Year! This is such a fun chat! After a year of watching your jaunts every weekend, I asked my spouse if he'd like to go to La Jolla Cove on Christmas Day and walk along the shore. The weather being extremely odd this year (we have rain and very high tides this week, but have avoided the terrible flooding they're experiencing up north), it was 80F (27C) on the 25th! The area is an underwater nature preserve, and the beaches are closed til March due to Sea Lion calving season. It was great to see so many sunning on the rocks. We hadn't been there in over a year, and were amazed as well at the number of seagulls, pelicans, and cormorants. It was very crowded, with human families as well, lol. I've only been to Virginia, D.C., and Georgia on the east coast, but the Appalachian Trail is quite famous (and long). California has a number of National Parks; Yosemite is amazing, but there are many less famous. There are State parks as well, such as Cuyamaca and Mt. Laguna, in San Diego County. The desert parks are amazing in early spring, when the wildflowers bloom. You'll need to bring your watercolors, Sarah! :)
A Happy New Year to you both, and the family. Very informative and helpful. I can certainly see why the videos take so much time. From my perspective, I'm so thankful for the amount of effort and entertainment you provide. Makes my day when I watch them. So thankful that you do these. Keep up the fantastic service. Have a safe and wonderful 2023.
Happy New Year and health and peace to the world. It was a nice and entertaining quarter of an hour from you at the beginning of the year, I'm already looking forward to the rest of the year. Best regards, Gunter
A great Q & A guys enjoyed the chat and and everything you have done the past year, here is looking forwards to the new years adventures with you , need to have a go at making splits now. Happy new year to you and yours and not forgetting the doggies ,,,,,,Brian&Jane
Hidden gems High Cliff to Rusey Cliff back along road Doc Martin film locations view’s out this world 👌👌Trebarwith Strand to Tregardock back on coast to pub Port William 🥟🍺👌Lansallos to Lantic Bay back along road 👌Daniel Gumbs Cave on edge of the quarry near The Cheesewring you walked past it on the way back not easy to see Redruth is the best place to live it’s in the middle of Cornwall Sarah and Andew like to wish you happy new year 🥟👍
Really enjoyed the video and if you enjoy murder mysteries you should read Daisy darker by Alice feeney it’s also set in Cornwall and it’s a sort of a tribute to Agatha’s Christie And then there were now 📚💕📚
Thank you Sarah and Andrew, for remembering my question re Splits. I await the results of your investigations...its really odd that they seem to have been quietly dropped. I live in hope of finding a Cornish bakery who actually sells them. They are great as they are so light that you can eat more cream and jam. My Cornish friends all say that Thunder and Lightning is superior to using Jam....I must admit it is moreish. We stay in Holywell Bay every year and the Bakers Dozen in Cubert is our local bakery....they don't have Splits sadly, but do have amazing homemade strawberry jam/scones and fabulous Pasties with really great quality meat. Their own cattle I believe. Anyway, heres to more adventures in 2023.
Sorry for all the comments 🤦😂 but my friend is involved with a publishing company they published her book about Anne Boleyn called the most happy her names holly Walters she's now involved with the running of the publishing company and she also loves Cornwall specifically st Micheals mount lol maby get I'm touch with her 🙂 xx
We found a hidden gem if you go into pentewan village drive up the side of the cliff then follow the road round to the cluster of cottages there's a footpath follow the path it comes into a rockey cove with a cottage on the beach and a waterfall coming down from the rocks above il always remember it if you know it what is it called and have you been was a lovely quiet place
I'd love to go on a walk with you guys 🙂 we did the walk today from flushing to mylor and back the walk you guys did you make it look so easy 😂 my feet are killing tho I did have my little boy in a baby carrier also had my 5 year old with us and she surprisingly did the whole walk and didn't say she was tired until we were about 10 minutes from the car 🙂 I feel like I'll need a week to recuperate 😂😂 and it was something like 3.9 miles 🤦 we moved here (just outside of Redruth) last July and absolutely love it were still discovering beautiful places all the time 🙂 if you ever fancy some company on a walk (a short one 😂) let me know lol 🤣 also if you haven't already definitely check out kennal vale it's absolutely beautiful 😍 xx
good morning, a query: I Will arrive in Cornwall with an italian group (average Age 70) can you propose me a short and Easy walk with a stunning view? thank you

Really enjoyed the video and if you enjoy murder mysteries you should read Daisy darker by Alice feeney it’s also set in Cornwall and it’s a sort of a tribute to Agatha’s Christie And then there were now 📚💕📚
Oooo sounds interesting! Thank you! Sarah :)
Nooooooooooooo.....Gorran Haven in my favourite place in Cornwall as it's hidden! Not anymore lol
Lol! 😂 Not much is hidden anymore!!! Sarah:)
We will have to try out the pasty shop! Sarah :)
@@CornishWalkingTrails Don't leave it too late in the day....they sell out late morning!
Fabulous Butchers too just up the road in St Newlyn east - L Georges....again, their own farm.
Ahh You can’t say Scon in Cornwall Sarah!! It’s scone with a “own” maid 😆

Hallaine beach! Great place! Sarah :)
