I miss when you had to do certain objectives to get characters. At least you knew what you were getting and could only get them based on your skill and your play time dedication
I feel the same way, being able to unlock characters through gameplay in gears 2 and 3... I hardly got any characters through gears 4 with standard play and my friend who doesn't really even like gears has more characters because he dropped £250 on the game, I ended up quitting because it got to me so much. Either pay us or be forced to play a massively restricted version of the game.
Camacho TKD & BJJ well that's how they get money cuz people will just buy them with real money. It's a shame especially when there's not a 100% chance you'll get what u wants. It's such bs, there's like no incentive for playing, u get like 85 credits a game. In gears 3 it was awesome cuz u could unlock a character by reaching a goal. Now it's all about money. Rant over. The only characters I really wanted was Champion Luchador Oscar and Anthony and Clayton Carmine to complete the Carmines. After nearly 40,000 credits I got 'em. Now back to playing some Horde on Inconceivable to rack up credits for the Festive packs.
I still need almost all the characters because the game never gives them to me. I opened 54 golden gear packs and never got him, I was lucky enough to get all carmine characters except for Zombie Gary, but to be honest I probably won't use him if I get him, I want him just to have him. I got the locust Drone, general REAL, locust sniper. That's it. I didn't get the Queen, can't seem to get Skorge, Kansas None of the savage characters, I'm missing the savage Kantus, drone and what ever else they added. I have one black steel character and that's because I don't think they should be $10 per pack especially when there not guaranteeing a character. I spent$130 on them to get Black steel anya. I wanted Marcus. But I love Anya too so I can't complain there, I just got ripped off. I am just missing so many weapon skins and characters it's not even funny and what makes it so darn bad is the fact that I play this game almost every day. I have to try so hard to get anything. And at the end I don't get them. I had to level up not even joking. I leveled up 200 times and got 41 classic Cole packs to get classic Cole. To me the classic characters are the most important because those are what made gears all these years. They should have been there from the beginning. I have time to retry but I know for certain that I'm still going to be missing a lot of stuff after this. I played Beta, I pre ordered the game, got Ultimate Edition which the season pass came with, and as much as I love gears of war, they just disappointed me on so many levels. At this rate, I only play for the sake of loving Gears of War and because I spent $107.49 on the game total to play it. Twice since I got it for a friend as well. I just got nothing to show for it and it sucks. It really sucks to show so much effort and support for the game to have nothing unique or special in return for playing the game and spending so much money
Got Zombie Anthony yesterday first try, so I'm psyched at that. Hopefully I can get Golden Gear and complete my Superstar Cole weapon skin set (only need Gnasher and Hammerburst)
Man it feels good to have superstar Cole and most of the ceremonial set, I'll take the onyx gold elite drone as well since I only decided to open 1 onyx gold pack and got him...the luck BOIS!
Now I know no matter what event or holiday they had, even when I was what I thought was grinding back then with the amount of gear packs I got, why I barely got any event specific cards
I got the Classic Marcus I was gunning for FINALLY! I had to get a bunch of Marcus packs to get it. I both love/hate that they put these packs out now because it's overwhelming! We got the classic delta out, these 20+ packs PLUS Gearsmas around the corner. And it wouldn't be an issue if I had 100K+ credits, but I only got 15K so I need to be careful. I also have rotten luck with packs. I really want to get Mechanic Baird and Clayton Carmine, but I guess I'll need to wait since I'm also trying to get Classic Baird next week. What a wonderfully horrible dilemma!! Great video man! I really enjoyed it.
didn't watch the video..that's not "Every gear pack ever" there's quite a few missing, they only put up a bunch during that "event" I expected you to save one of each packs whenever the coalition released a new one...that's what I did after I was happy with my character and weaponskins, no need to get new ones, no need to level horde cards, so I just collected closed packs
