The reason that division left Basra, wasn't because you can't enter, but because the front line was not extended to that tile. So the division left to go back to it's front line.
Indeed, that was satisfying. I'm not sure if the casualty numbers are correct, since multiple volunteer armies were involved, but that probably broke the Fengtian forces. Taking out critical supply positions isn't just working well in-game, but is standard military tactic IRL, too. I'm always pleasantly surprised to see how realistically things are modelled sometimes
@StoriesandStrategieswithTerry trust me. It was as satisfying to watch you get that encirclement and close it down. I especially liked hearing g you talk about the pow's. I do kind of wish the game modeld pow's in game. Not sure what that would look like, though. Maybe it would take away some of the fun of the game, so maybe it is best they don't.
When you applied the upgrade to the Heinkel's, I wish you had renamed them "He 111 D" so that you could know which of the medium bombers had the old stats and which ones had the new boosted stats.
I was thinking about it, but it'll get weird quickly - I shouldn't be running out of letters, historically speaking. What I might do in the future is to use numbers for pure MIO design upgrades, so an He 111 D would become a D1, D2 etc
Hey man, just want to say really enjoy what you’re doing, super unique and doesn’t seem like there’s anyone else out there doing it. Just want to say keep doing what you’re doing! 👍
I tend to be aggressive on Civs if I'm not going for a large, early war. I'm a bit behind in planes, but construction is rapid at this point, and during the Black Monday period, mils wouldn't have made much of an impact due to Tarnow-Baade.
I wish the game would distinguish between the medium bombers and the heavy fighters so it won't upgrade all the heavy fighters you make into heavy bombers.
This could be fixed in one of the newer patches, I think I'm about 5 versions behind right now, and they did some fixes around the design versioning etc.
I have no idea what's going to happen, or how strong the opposition is going to be - the mod seems to introduce some fairly powerful modifiers through foci and decisions, which is one reason why I'm relying on good old intelligence to get an idea what I'll be up against. For now, Russia and the Internationale certainly seem to be outnumbering me, and I can't do the usual German early-war steamroll, either. Plays a lot more like the UK, and I'm assuming the first round of battles is going to be defensive, to hold the lines, and focus on air and sea battles.

22 divisons trapped in that pocket in Manchuria! That is quite the victory for the German forces allied with the Chinese!

@StoriesandStrategieswithTerry yes, I like this idea!

Thanks! I'm still developing this style, and I'm keen to see how I can apply it to different games, and how far I can push it 🫡
8 full lines of construction and still have free civ factories! 😲

@StoriesandStrategieswithTerry Possible. I understand you have to play on an old version to keep playing the save file.
nice video, nice roleplay
Amazing run so far, but lets see how you do against France and Russia. Also does anybody know if China can join Reichspakt in time?
