it would be nice if someone implemented a mod that allows to get a better control scheme for Minecraft as if it was natively made for the Wii, like other first person Wii games, you move the cursor around the screen and turn the camera when the cursor goes to the edges of the screen, is way more intuitive than having the cursor always in the middle like standard game controllers or mouse, it would actually also free up the whole dpad and A button for in-game actions as well as allow to hand the controller the more standard way wiimote+nunchuck is intended to be used, for example Call of Duty, Metroid Prime and Resident Evil 4 control that way on Wii

I would recommend you using a mod made by MrCrayfish called "Controllable". This mod adds controller support.

Great now all I need is a way to split into 2 separate displays and I have Minecraft vr on a budget
Minecraft would’ve been perfect for the wii, use a nunchuck joystick to move, use motion controls for the camera, use z on the nunchuck to place, b on the wiimote to break, a on the wiimote to jump, c on nunchuck or wiimote dpad to sort through your hot bar, button 1 to open the inventory, button 2 to open crafting, + to pause - for whatever and I can’t think what the dpad could be used for other than choosing items in your hotbar, it could work even better with a classic controller

You can scrip it that way if you want. So a swing of the Wiimote would be a right click. It is completely customizable.

GlovePIE?? Seriously? This tool is VERY outdated, not even being supported anymore. This software was meant to back up a Wii-like Power Glove that never happened, you cannot recommend this software to your Minecraft audience.
The GitHub repository hasn't even been updated in months, leaves a lot to be desired.
