My wife used to ask me to pick up tampons on my way home from work. No big deal, right? Then the cashier would do a "price check." (This was before scanners) She gets on the intercom and broadcast/asks a stock person for a price check on the tampons. While holding the box in the air etc. With a half hidden grin on her face. She thought it was funny trying to embarrass a guy buying tampons. It didn't embarrass me. It just aggravated me for wasting my time. Same cashier did it twice to me. The only item she'd price check was the tampons. Smh, some people. Anyway, told my wife about it. About how childish it was etc. Next time wife and I were shopping together, when cashier was ringing up the tampons, my wife stopped her. Said, "I think you rang up the wrong price on the tampons, you should do a price check." Cashier did so with a strained look on her face." She was the one embarrassed. She never did the price check gag again. Nor would she look at me again when she rang up my items.
It's sad that in the information age there are still uneducated and or childish men. Now to see that there are women that do this too, what a shame. But don't worry, it won't be long before women don't have to deal with it anymore. Because the trans will soon declare that only they can menstruate because real women aren't actually real women.
In high school i was a cashier at a grocery store. One day a man came in to buy pads and that was the only thing he bought. I asked if he wanted a bag because it was just one item. He said something along the lines of “yeah i need a bag, i don’t want people to see me with this”. That was the first time i was exposed to ignorant insecure men like this. I was surprised that it was a such a big deal to that guy. It’s just pads. Who cares??????? Only insecure men care. And insecure men care about other insecure mens’ opinions.

My MOTHER uses euphemisms about periods but my dad and brother are like "you need a tampon?" because she was raised in that type of home as a child, where you hid pads from men and hid you were on your period. My aunt once hustled me into her bathroom to give me a paper bag of pads to take to my mom and I took them and handed it to my dad and said, "Mommy needed pads from Auntie" because their family was period-shamers but my dad grew up with a sister and my brother with sisters so it's not even a thought in their mind.

there's nothing wrong with that, even a woman bring 5 to 10 packs of sanitary pad and she put it on cellophane don't be like that to a woman...respect it..
Are people truly reacting to the period shaming or mostly to what is obviously an emotionally abusive relationship? I understand that if Chenyang wouldn't act like such an asshole people might be less likely to intervene but it does skew the experiment. I think an interesting alternative to this experiment would be two female friends that disagree on the topic.
@@CptNemo-l3s I agree, but the way the couple is portrayed it's clear that there's much more abuse going on in their relationship than the guy being a dick over this one topic he's insecure about, if you get what I mean.
