Mondo, a bit of an off topic question, how do you slide the guitar notes from one to another using a VST? I have WremenaOne but I'm not sure how it is it's even possible to do a slide note with it. Puurple Cat I think has tons of good examples of a sliding guitar sound, but I'm mostly looking for just little slides during melodies to add a bit of flavor.
Excellent stuff. Cool to see your back sharing the knowledge. I missed the regular YT vids. Already looking forward to your next. Thank you. Btw your new studio looks amazing. Fair played to you.
Love what you do and the quality of your videos. What blows my mind is that people aspire to write music to land on a playlist! You can’t communicate with fans or have any idea of peoples reactions in playlists! Platforms like these at least allow us to communicate as a community!
Ayy that's great, all the best on your lofi projects! Thanks for watching man, if there is ever any specific vids you are after do let me know, checking your music out now!
Oh man, so good! Always love seeing how you layer different sounds, and found your explanation and execution of building textures really helpful. Thanks again!
Had to come back and leave another comment - after watching this I went to work on a track and applied some of your texture techniques. The track turned out really nice!
Ayy hey man, always appreciate you dropping in! Thanks mate, thinking of more texture videos soon, adds so much character to tracks with minimal effort often!
Hey Peter, thanks for watching! Just checked out Summer through my window, what a beauty! Added to my upbeat playlist 🙏 hoping to launch more collaborative projects with my RUclips community soon, will post more info in the new year!
These videos are so good! It’d be fun to see more detailed/longer versions. Your videos have made me want to release a lofi album! Lol. It’s fun stuff to make.
Hey mate, definitely going to experiment with longer vids too, or even more area specific stuff like just chord progressions one vid / just mixing in another etc. - anything you'd like to see more of? Thanks for watching 🔥 defo worth making a lofi album, super fun to do imo
@@MondoLoops the specific area videos would be cool. More detailed videos on drums and bass would be helpful. Mixing advice would be great. And, more videos on Melodie’s would be excellent. Thanks!
thanks for the help would love to see you build your pianos a bit more but this helps alot. I always try beating one piano into submission when I should grab good lows mids and highs from different pianos I have and combine them its so obvious but I've always been alittl too lazy lol
Hey! Defo going to make more piano centric content, maybe a sort of 3 lofi piano progression vid if that's what you mean? Haha yeah I'm the same honestly, for me just spending the odd session dedicated to finding sounds and creating presets / templates seems to help a lot
@@MondoLoops I wouldn't be watching if they weren't great, so thank you. I'd be interested in seeing the process(s) by which and systems through which you remotely collaborate with other artists. Thanks again ⚡⚡
Definitely going to be making a texture rack! I’ve loved being on your playlists before, and actually just released a song this past week, would love if you’d take a listen. Thanks Mondo!
Beautiful work, you have a great talent in lofi - and, for sure, a lot of hours of practice. Thanks for video! P.s. as you suggested, artist name: Rush Alone
so so appreciate you sharing everything you have learned about lofi... thank you so much sir mondo my artist name is King Chemist, i think my tune 'unwind' would work best on your laid back lofi playlist :)
Amazing video! I often look at your channel for inspiration to create new music :) My artist name is "ram." (tracks: "it's so cozy here...", "what's the difference?", "where are you going?")
A real bass guitar is a must really, a P bass ideally (but anything chill and capable of soul/motown will do). Drum software like addictive, superior or real drums are a must if you really really want your own sound. Under used options are, samplers that degrade everything above or below root note (Akai S series and more, software version TAL Sampler) and analog guitar pedals (not the £500 hipster lofi ones, literally just boss ones will suffice).
So much value as always in your videos, this is so inspiring, thank you for sharing your experience. P.S. my artist name for playlist rotation is "TonybtM"
Hello. I really appreciate you sharing all you know about lofi... thank you very much sir Mondo, my artist name is "Nikolai Zizenko", I think my song " November Rain " would be the best for your casual playlist. Thank you)
Thanks for the sub! And great spotify profile pic 😂 Love the dark oldschool hip hop vibe, actually starting up a new playlist for this vibe soon so will drop some tracks in!
Nice video but I don't really get how how this is lofi. It feels more chill hop/ambient to me (I know its just a label etc) but this lofi girl style seems to have taken over what lofi is.
I love ambient, soft and warm mood in your tracks! I'm trying to make such vibe in my music but it's difficult for now. Thank you for the inspiration!
Beautiful track 👍🏼
