    Kevin's dead-eye stare into the camera as he mentions the text dictation feature on the FX shows exactly what he thinks about it, and it's hilarious 😆
    All of the top 3 skis in this placement definitely earned their spot, all fantastic machines. Waiting eagerly on the 2024 model year release, hoping to see the new Spark design and the Spark X like everyone else

    Kevin, I totally agree with you. All of the accessories aren't need for me. I'll be looking to get a 2024 FXSVHO next season. Hopefully they'll be available in the Maryland area, because right now, they're sold out for the year. Oh, one question. I did some online shopping and found a few skis in Florida, but the dealer told me that they were only selling skis to Florida residents. How can they do that ? Argh !
    Keep up the good work.

    The FX SVHO is like a man sized GP1800R SVHO. (It essentially is the GP for 6+ footers)

    Kevin, really nice to hear you talk about the FX Hull Paint and Low Fuel Alarm issues, can you talk to your Yamaha contacts and find out if the Low Fuel Alarm issue is going to be corrected? There's been reports that some owners have been contacted by Yamaha to test out a fix they are working on? Can you confirm?

    HI Kevin, I enjoy watching your videos. I currently own a 2021 RXTX300 and my son has 2019 VX Cruiser with TR1. When i rode VX i noticed that at speed it much more stable at choppy water , much stable at doing donuts. at my rxtx i always under pressure with steering to counter. I am considering to get 2022 FX Limited SVHO. Will it be better rider even then VX and RXTX? Thank you

    Hi kevin ,actually planning to buy a pwc and having a hard time choosing between the 2022 svho limited you showed in your video and the 2023 svho cruiser (red one) can you please give me an advice😊

    Let’s also not forget that the trip meter resets every time you turn the ski off. Combine that with the low fuel alarm going off early and it’s very hard to work out how much distance you have left in the tank. It’s been over a year Yamaha. Surely there is a software fix!!!

      The next episode of WCJ will prove that a stock 310LX can hang in 4ft. chop with a Stage 2 FX SVHO when ridden WOT for 9 hours straight. -K

      @@watercraftjournal- I noticed you talk about RIVA a lot for the different “stages” BUT have you seen JP Racing on RUclips?? They do some mods and get 88+ on most of the SC skis. I think they even have a mid 90s stage! They are also doing crazy Turbo swaps with well over 100 mph!!!

    You can disconnect the wiring to the alarm fairly quick …

      EasyDoesIt - its not recommended but I'm thinking of disconnecting it on my 2023 FXHO. Have you done it and if so, did it disconnect any other electronics that you're aware of?

    • @watercraftjournal
      @watercraftjournal  Год назад +4

      Do not do this. Doing so deactivates all pertinent warning alarms, including overheating and low voltage.

      You're commenting on a 2 year old video. Nevertheless, we felt that the change to SMC was a far, far better move than continuing with Nano2. Imagine how many more failures would've happened had they not changed it?
