As soon as I introduced "Burn the house down" I became popular for the entire year because when people thought of the epic song they thought of me introducing it to them and thought I was so cool.
I was depressed as hell and desperately trying to cheer up by simply listening to music on RUclips. 3 o clock things came in the recommendations..... "Come on guys, I promise everything will be alright, be ok " I cried for half an hour, and felt much much better
Fun fact! The synth you loved so much in Weak isn't a synth at all, It's trumpet with a THICK layer of vocoding on it. Despite their really electro sound they don't actually use straight synths very often, they prefer to take real life sounds and instruments and just go ham in the post-production

Just a little after doing this video, I stumbled across one of the members doing a dive into how they produced Weak, which had such amazing and interesting insights. I loved that one of the ways they made the pulsing sounds was by reversing the instruments periodically, and I did notice how much they just messed with sounds to make them distorted and really fascinating. Such a cool method of production!

please do a part 2. Growing up on bleecker street, Netflix trip, and I'm ready are all from the same album but have such a different feel/doesn't seem like these songs are from the same album
