Ive legit been so excited to see ANYBODY make an analog horror ANYTHING about catnap because in all seriousness he is a content horror goldmine just waiting to be mined to the ore
Seeing catnap this beast-like and terrifying is a nice breath of fresh air of me because I’ve been exposed to content farm junk every time I put catnap in the google searchbar
I think what I like most about this This time they do represent Catnap as the monster he truly is. A crazy fan of 1006, a murderous monster that would not hesitate to kill you He's not friendly, he's just a totally crazy monster with a desire to kill for 1006 I could even say that this video treated catnap better than in the game itself
Not to discredit your interpretation of the story, but I saw it more as he was taking his time killing you in CH3 was because it wasn't what he was told. It was only after giving you the final warning that I assume he was TOLD by 1006 to kill you. In the hour of joy (which this takes place in) his directions would be pretty explicit to "Kill everyone." just as the other big body toys were. But like I said everyone has different interpretations :)
So true, this makes him feel like a real threat. In the game, he just stalks you from out of view and the first he "attacks" the player, he pushes you in a room, shuts the door, and let's you fall asleep💀. I know that's a good way for Mob to say that CatNap doesn't want to kill the player, but it would have been cool to see him really hunt you down. But I also think that Mob didn't want CatNap to have a chase scene like Huggy and Mommy, which makes sense. Anyway I still think CatNaps a cutie💜

1:42 This moment genuinely scared the F%$@ out of me. And the fact that he's voiced by Nized who is a youtuber who does amazing voice impressions of FNAF characters just makes it even more terrifying. THIS VHS MADE APPRIECIATE CATNAP AS A CHARACTER.

It was terrifying and I actually did jump 🥰 this is the boy in all his angy wild kitty ways. The beginning was so sad though… he was pretty docile until they started poking at him. I hated the way Leith spoke to him when he was still a kid that was getting used to this new body. He’s not a mindless killing machine. Unless you present as foe- especially to the prototype. I love the way you put it all together. You really do work in tandem with mob. Istg it’s about time you become a compositor for them. This was amazing! The voice was terrifying but so fitting. 💜💜

Something that I loved is that there is another VHS tape that talks about something similar to this created by the youtuber GoldenDiamond, both tapes could be perfectly related and are equally perfect and well animated ❤
gosh darn, this was incredible where do I start? first 1: i love how you truly kept CatNap very eerie and unnerving behind the glass window submerged in the shadows it made him all the more menacing and downright frightening second 2: the visuals the animation voice acting everything was phenomenal the part where catnap slams into the glass was so unexpected but actually got my heart to start racing because I was watching full screen final 3: towards the near end of the video the most suspenseful part is when the ''player'' or someone else I assume opened the door again after seeing catnap for a Split Second the long pause had me shaking I literally have to put my hands in front of my face just waiting tension for to be broken by jumpscare and when it did happen I still got startled by it overall this was the most coolest and terrifying stress-inducing animation you have ever made and I absolutely love it!!! can't wait to see more!! :D
