As a 67-year-old white male, this is as badass as it gets. All I can say is WOW, Just as I remember the temptations doing it.
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous version. The Temptations would be VERY proud. This wasn't so much a simple cover as Boyz II Men emulating the Temptations and paying homage to their roots. Boyz II Men have always reminded me of the Temptations. Their songs, "Please Don't Go", "On Bended Knee", "I'll Make Love to You" and "End of the Road" all have their sound. I'm thrilled to see that they performed this WHILE doing the dance steps! That's PURE Temptations! :)

Yes, in The UK they along with The Temptations are Icons. Whenever a Boy Band Auditions on The X Factor they always talk about how Boyz To Men influenced them. Also in 2002 on Popstars: The Rivals where a Boy Band and a Girl Group were formed when the "Kids" who were allowed to stay much to their relief were told to sing "One Sweet Day" by Boyz To Men & Mariah Carey. They are also revered in Australia as well.

Totally agree. I had heard of Boyz 2 Men some decades ago, but the first time I heard them sing was about six months ago when I ran across this on RUclips. I love this rendition of one of my favorite songs by my favorite singing group.
Their voices have matured like fine wine over the years, while their peers can even hold a note. Boys 2 Men Forever!!!

Only Boyz ll Men would do any justice to this song in this time. The truth is when you listen to this you can't make any comparisons. The temptations are untouchable and their style unique so are the Boyz; not to mention the difference and peculiarity of the two voices (Kendricks and Wanye). You just gotta appreciate the fact that real music is being sung and get to the realization that some songs are just in a bracket by themselves.
We all have our opinions, but the original was better IMHO.

Since the temptations, there's been the Jacksons, then New Edition then BoyzIIMen and since BoyzIIMen, there hasn't been a real gifted and talented male group with all round tight vocals. This song however is missing Michael 'Bass' McCary. THe boys really did this song justice.

Yes ma'am Just My Imagination is on the "Motown A Journey Through Hitsville" album and "Tracks Of My Tears" is masterfully done by the guys on there too. Now the Throwback Vol. 1 album has Boyz II Men renditions of For the love of you, Sara Smile, Let it whip, Human Nature , Cutie Pie and a host of other old school hits on there.

I have been a fan of this group since I was 11 years old, which was ages ago and I haven't stopped loving them since. I sure hope I get to see them when they come in concert to my town. I never knew that Michael left because of 'Health' reasons (MS)! I kept wishing he would 'patch' whatever problems they had and come back. On one hand I'm so glad it wasn't solely 'personal' problems but on the other hand I'm like: 'OMG, poor baby!' I hope he's okay. An amazing and masterful cover of one of the greatest and most beautiful songs by the Temptations. That song also happens to be one of my alltime faves of the 60s and this certainly measures up to it in many many ways. Boys2Men is an incredibly talented group.
