I enjoyed the Syrian locos. I think they are older then Jordanian maybe of the interbelic decades. They are so smoky and dirty but they are whistling so sweet like Russian old steam locos.
Thank you so much for sharing this great video, the history of the Hedjaz Railway interests me a lot and I love the variety of different steam locomotives that the system had over the years.
hedjaz continues to be fascinating, it shuld be cotinued to Medina and Meccer the sceanery is astounding the steam locomotives that are preserved are very non british which makes them very interesting. They have acertain familurearity which equates for me to the miniture loko designer LBS C its like they wher designed as modles and then converted to full size very curious ttfn&ty
The always hesitant and oft-times wobbly camerawork didn't help in depicting this fascinating railway-and some details of the locomotives wouldn't have gone amiss. Nevertheless, most interesting.
this train this railway established by ottoman empire. traitor lawrence and its traitor hussain destroyed many of railway and trains by hands of arab tribes .
May Allah give rewards to Sultan Abdul Hameed
Probably the best video about Hedjaz Railway, without commentary and featuring maybe all the syrian series, even the Mallet!
