Beautiful French designed home. I grew up in a home with an indoor pool as well; we'd have Christmas while swimming near the 16' tall Christmas tree. It was beautifully designed for it's day (a traditional style). But, father died of cancer a few years back, we were told it might have been the off gases of the bromine in the pool water (you can't use Chlorine indoors). Also, you have to keep those doors shut to rest of house or the whole house as all your clothes in closets, even food in the pantry smells like pool water. It's not worth the trade off. My father also designed a dehumidifier that pulled the evaporating water out of the air and put the sterile water back into the pool. It was heated by solar roof panels as well. Low cost maintenance until it ages, and then, you have problems IN the house, as you can't exactly fix a pool so easily when it's under a room with walls. Pro, swimming year round even as it snows! Con, too many cons to make it worth the expense.

Not bragging but my mom used to live in a mansion in her childhood. It held two familys. It had 6 bathrooms. Two roofs, 6 bedrooms and two kitchens. Yes. Two kitchens. The one in the first floor had a kitchen that was 9 feet wide and the side of kitchen was 4 feet. And if your asking how I know, ill tell you. My mom's brothers still live there but my mom moved to America, so I got to visit the mansion. :)

I don't get some people in the comments section. Saying the grapes are sour because they can't reach them. The mansion is really great. It even feels like a palace. If you can't afford it, then don't say stuff like "Oh, it doesn't even feel like a home" or "This is too fancy , I want a cozy, little home". It's not nice. Some people put their blood, sweat and tears into making this mansion. You may not like it, it's your decision. But it doesn't mean you have the freedom to badmouth someone else's home.
