I saw lion king on broadway last Christmas with my mom and my dad it was outstanding the characters were amazing the whole production was just amazing .
i saw this for my birthday when i was 10 and they’re coming back to my city around my 23rd birthday. i plan to bawl the entire time this play is amazing 💙

I saw this on Broadway when I was 11 years old I am 30 now and I still remember this never forgot it. It was so unforgettable. It was so good. I really want to go back. This was so so so good.
Was just listening to Howard Stern praise this musical back in 2001, and he doesn't like much especially things that are wholesome and enjoyed by 8 year olds a-like. I've never been to a "play/musical", but I think i might see it one day!
The Academy award winning 1994 Disney film, The Lion King, was transformed into a Broadway musical. This Musical was produced by Peter Schneider and Thomas Schumacher along with numerous other directors that would help turn this academy award winning movie into a musical. I had only heard good things about this musical and having a little sister, I found an excuse to go see a childhood love of mine “The Lion King” on Broadway. The musical had so many great costumes that were worn by terrific actors that would interact with the audience as time went on. This musical brought back every single childhood memory I was hoping it would and even though it was an animated movie, the way they created in into a musical was flawless. The transition from scene to scene along with the vibrant colors and song choices from the movie really helped the overall performance. This was a childhood movie that is popular to many and would highly recommend seeing it as a musical.
I would love to see this but I know they will never show it here. It would be great if they would make it into a movie as well. Just like Jesus Christ Superstar. one of the best musicals EVER. Still preforming on stage.

The opening number was the most jaw dropping theatrical experience of my life. My wife and just stared at each other in amazement.
Saw the show on June 12, 2024, in NY. It is the most beautiful thing I ever seen in my life. Very well executed, and those performers deserve Oscars!
Saw it in New York at the New Amsterdam Theater during its 1st run and it was one of the most amazingly beautiful shows I've ever seen! Magical!!

You should check that cause they have a show that tours the world. I in Washington and I got it see it in Seattle a few years ago.
My theater, choir and some regular students are going to see this performed in New Orleans on the 11th of November. I wont be going, however.
