Luke, when testing flight controls, you should do ailerons while you move the yoke in and out. That makes sure they are free and clear in all positions.
@@StrictlySports I can't fly a flight simulator, they have no feel, so I fly real airplanes. I am a Commercial pilot with instrument and multiengine ratings and over 3,000 hours. I have flown about 60 different types off aircraft and have owned five for my personal use and several business aircraft including three VC-7 745d executive configured Viscounts. I have flown P-51s, T-28s and owned and flew a Beech B58TC for 15 years and about a 1,000 hours. My current ride is a 1975 Beech V35B. I like what Luke does and I hope his videos encourages other young adults to fly and make a career in flying. He is lucky to have access to such a nice Mooney and flies it well.
Your radio communications would make seasoned pilots jealous! Good work man. Hope to see you up in the skies someday!
Another BUTTER landing my guy!!!!!!!!

+1 to this. I do independent aileron/elevator, then "stir the yoke" through all corners of motion.
@@marshallcarter6106 Yes, you want to make sure there is no binding anywhere in the in the range of motion of the flight controls.
always the keyboard pilots 😂lemme guess it says that on flight sim 💀
@@StrictlySports Uhh, well I’m an IRL pilot and I own and have almost 500 hours in the particular aircraft type shown in this video.

Great video Luke!
Thanks Spencer!
great video as usual Luke, love the music choice at the start of the vid...how was the pizza?
Paul, not amazing if I’m being completely honest. Pretty good, but I wouldn’t say “world famous.”
If you want a reason to fly I recommend signing up for Angel Flight
Hi Tom, unfortunately I don’t have the experience to do that as they require an instrument rating. I will definitely do so though!
Tom Petty, yeah!!!
