@@jamesprigioni You should enroll Tuck in the Dog Aging Project. They do studies on dog healthspan and lifespan. Most of the participants are in an observational study to find out what lifestyle and environmental factors influence healthy aging. They also have a clinical trial on the effects of low dose rapamycin. It's interesting that the most common pastime of centenarians is gardening & a recent study found that gardening families have differences in their gut microbiomes compared to non-gardeners. It would be great to get more 'gardening dogs' in the DAP so more can be learned about the effects of gardening on health and lifespan.

Tuck and James, thank you for your passion and inspiration. Found your channel a few months ago and decided to go big on the backyard. I like your channel because your zone is just barely warmer than mine (6b here). We went from a 100sqft garden plot to 900 sqft garden. It’s no food forest yet, but it is in the forecast! You also directed me to the B2E through that awesome documentary and the permaculture guys you reference in your episodes. I really see everything coming together, and you were a piece of showing me it was not only possible but enjoyable! I too have a Yorkie and he’s already walking in Tuck’s footsteps. Love the videos! Food for thought: I used to be a contributing writer for the FFA program and I had several interesting conversations with farmers about Bt.: both GMO Bt crops and its use as a pesticide spray. There are a lot of conflicting studies about its safety in both forms. I tend to play it safe and stay away from it because it seems like we don’t know enough about it. Thanks for sharing great content! 🤙

Thank you for this video! I commented on an other video asking about pest control. I'm excited to start prep for my "experimental garden" next month!

Thank you for showing the " garbage " neem oil. That's exactly the kind of spray that is on Amazon. So, to someone who's newer at this gardening thing( especially in pandemic) im sure a lot of ppl bought this. I always appreciate the thoroughness and examples of literal products and experience. So thanks again!!

Aweeee your a good pet daddy! Tuck really enjoys gardening with you. I love Tuck! I have never seen a dog eat raw veggies it’s hilarious. I just used this neem oil per your suggestion. I have cucumber beetles eating my cukes.

Fantastic information as always! I use old pantyhose for my compost tea bags. (Not that you likely have old pantyhose)works great. Thanks James

    Thanks James, from NorthNJ.
I use the neem oil with azadirachtin because it breaks down in UV light in a short time. I move the mulch and let some get to the roots because it is systemic.

Love it! Could you and Tuck do a series on your Greenhouse and how you grow things from seed in the off season?? I am thinking of building a Greenhouse.
