Proton is basically from Malaysia, like MG is also chinese car but owned by and represented by UK based company MG, Iphone is also a Chinese product but made for the USA based company Apple.

@@thegaragepk bhai sahab Proton x70 is actually Geely Boyue with proton badge. Its not manufactured by Proton but something called badge engineered and assembled in Malaysia.
Not same thing as iphone made in china. Current MG is also completely bought by SAIC (Chinese) and products sold under that badge are not from UK but SAIC.
