The engines and transmission are different, but nearly everything else is FIAT underneath. Aside from the trim, motorhomes are based on a commercial vehicle, so parts will be the same. Thanks. I converted my Ducato to a camper van as well. Might post a video some time, although I don't have one of the conversion itself. Quick warning : the door locks are extremely easy to break. Mine was broken into with a screw driver, which takes about 20sec. I fitted electronic locks on the inside.
Thanks, that's great advice Wim. I've seen solenoid type electronic door bolts that are huge and would have bought one if I had the cash. The Ducato is made of very thin steel and the plastic handles are weak. Security is really important for van drivers, especially in the UK. I've put deadbolts in the rear and sliding doors ruclips.net/video/LQdHaNGAp_4/видео.html and I need to get around to putting them in the cab doors. Once they are all in, it wouldn't matter if I didn't use the remote locking at all.
Definitely post a video. Give the video a good name and you will get a ton of views - I will be one of them. 😊
Wim sorry to hear mate.
Awesome off to eBay now to buy one for my van.
If you buy one of those triple 12v socket sets, the type that includes a socket, usbs, and other stuff in a plastic face plate, you pay less for each component. In a later video, I add another socket over on the driver's side and use a fuse tap to wire it into an unused circuit.
Nice one I'll hunt it down.
Though I've already bought one on eBay.
For reference, I bought a couple of these. (It's not a paid link- I don't do affiliate- so it's safe to click)

I'll be ordering one for my big van build later in the year. Cheers.
Woohoo! Greg Virgoe is THE van builder, if you haven't already subscribed. 😎
cut wires one by one to avoid bridging vires with crimping too.
This circuit comes on with the ignition, but good advice regardless. Thank you.
If you did go limp. You haven't uploaded the video. How will we know?! Unless you do live video
I have an arrangement... If I die before I can post, the heiress to my kingdom will upload the video. 😉
David good point.
I’ve done exactly same as your video and mine isn’t working 🤷♂️
Had you checked the fuse? F44 is a 20amp fuse, in the fusebox next to the steering wheel.
The one but that’s vital you just can’t see! Wiggle,,,,,what!
