      Ok! Where I can buy 2N3094 transistor? What analog of this transistor I can use?

    I did it but it doesn't work. It works as a normal speaker but when I plug in an electric guitar, there is only a hissing sound.

    Oh, so nice budy! I can't find the schemas in your blog, it shows only the cabinet image. May you share the schema?

      Hello! Where you bought 2N3094 transistor? Or you used analog that?

      @TechTemplate-ld6kb Brother, there is no transistor called 2N3094, there is a transistor called 2N3904, I made it but it does not work. It works as a normal speaker but when I plug in an electric guitar, there is only a hissing sound.

    Only l need to know! What is the value of the C2 capacitor ??? 1mf or 100 nf??

    • @Blowncapacitor84
      @Blowncapacitor84 2 года назад

      It is 1uf... on a ceramic capacitor (small disk shape) it will be marked with 104.

    Your title says with distortion, all lm386's are distorted.

    • @Blowncapacitor84
      @Blowncapacitor84 2 года назад

      Technically yes, but it just means there is a variable gain circuit manipulating pins 1 and 8 (gain stage) controlled via the "gain" potentiometer. if you dont connect those pins it won't really have enough gain to 'distort'

    C2 cpasitor value is 1 mf elektrolitic or 100 nf?
    İf you answer? I will be glad 🙏

      C2 is 1uF, the link to the HQ schematics is in the description.

      if you're using a ceramic capacitor it will be marked 104

    I've built 3 LM386 amps, and at the end of the third one I thought....'this was fun, but they are garbage', and I have never used them as they sound like ass, and then realized I could have bought a real modeller with the money I spent.
