Still using my note 9 right next to my fold 6 and s24ultra. The screen just looks better. Pictures especially, so vibrant. colors not turned down. i just love it. I have my alarms set on it so i can make sure to use it every day still
@@TheTechPreacherI saw some videos where they are putting Android 14 on the note 9 but you will lose some features like the Bluetooth for the pen and the face scanner also I think you will lose your fingerprint scanner but when they put it on the phone move faster and the cameras get cleaner
I would still pick up that phone today and use it exclusively for DEX and upload footage on to the SD card from other devices and to monitor audio using the 3.5mm jack. That's how useful it is today.
The phone era from Note 8 thru 10 plus has been unmatched since, each phone had its own identity which made it satisfying unlike now. The 9 as a lefty took sum time gettin used to tho.
The note series has an established history of being a reliable device. A note/ultra device is something you buy when you plan to be using the same device for several years
@@areasevenpro someone changed the original battery after buying note 7 and uses that phone still today. Only one time when aftermarket product is better than og.
I still hold on to my Note 3, 4, 5, 8, 10+, 20 Ultra, and currently, I also have a Galaxy 24 Ultra because of course, it has the S Pen! I would have loved to keep the 7, it was my fave color (Coral Blue). Ironically, I skipped on the 9 because I decided to not upgrade at the time it released lol.
The only reason I moved on from my old LG Flex was because the app support started to die off. My only concern with keeping an older phone is the security patches. But I understand wanting to keep your phone long term. Like a car the best phone is a paid off one. With that said the pictures on the Note 9 look way more realistic in comparision to the Ultra 23 (my current phone) photos. On the 23 I feel that some colors are really over saturated. The sky always looks completely different than it does in real life.
I love my Note 9. It was a year ago that I changed to the S23 Ultra as my main phone, mainly because some apps do not work on older Android versions. But I kept the Note 9 and I do use it as a camera (I love the SD card and the jack). Pity that Black Magic camera app does not work on it.
Yeah that helps also make sure your apps is up to date thu the Google Play store and don't unlock the bootloader boom you should be fine. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it
has your note 9 slowed down quite a bit though? Like does the keyboard take awhile to open and apps delayed a second or two to open? Mine does that but I'm wondering if I should reset it. Don't want to though cause its a lot of work setting it up again
Please help me. I have a Samsung Note 9, but the phone does not accept downloading the Smart Things application. What do you think is the solution, or is there no solution at all?
I gave my nephew the v60 because he didn't have a phone starting a new job I even gave him the dual screen case and I was sad to see that phone already cracked up and destroyed because he didn't leave the case on 🤦🤦
I still have my note 8, but about a year back, the battery started to swell inside, breaking the back of the phone open. It doesn’t charge or come on anymore.
Unless you really want the s pen and the notification LED, the galaxy S10+ may be a better option as it still has a 6.4inch 1440p screen, has even larger battery at 4100mah, headphone Jack and sd card support and has a newer snapdragon processor and support up to Android 12.
@@larry-of9khIronically Note 9 has valuable features that none of the S Ultras have. Phone jack and SDcard. Still using my 8/512 Note 9 because of that.
No 5g. Battery is 20 percent smaller. No dual screen. Much weaker DAC. On the plus side though it does have a QHD screen. Capacitive fingerprint sensor
@michaelcorcoran8768 lol yeah the phone is almost 7 years old so yeah no 5g, battery was better then the galaxy note 8, the DAC was better than the note 8, the fingerprint scanner was better than the galaxy note 8. Thanks for watching
I sold my Note 9 and regretted it. I have 2 Note 20 with cracked screens and now I'm forced to replace them but i wanna wait for the 2025 Snap 8 Elite devices. If not for the cracked screens I would keep my Note 20s front and center but I would grab the new Samsung Tab S11 Ultra regardless.
@TheTechPreacher i bought my note 9 in 2018 the first month it was showing I bought it for 1255$ im not going up to another phone ill keep this phone till the inner organs die 🤣🤣

@bradcruise6291 the older devices last but not as fancy or camera but I'm content with my old note 9 works and does the job

it has the heart rate sensor too

Reset it bro, trust me you’ll notice a major difference!!
I'm still rocking this flagship 🤭
Truth is, many of the upgrades to the latest flagships you can leave without them.

Samsung stop support for that OS unfortunately
