Hi Jally, I was wondering, on the IPG modular system do you make repairs? Because I understand that for those types of modules after changing a diode and splicing the fiber you need some sort of software or key to make it able to use that new diode or full power. I have seen some that say they repair those, but only bypass the module. I am talking about the YLS I will like to hear more about it.
yes, you need to do some resetting through the software, for multi module lasers, normally swicth the module, for single module lasers, need to change the diodes or other parts internally

because raycus has seperate optical and electrical module, so if you cannot repair the inside resonator, you can choose to switch the whole optical module, which is easier compared with sending back the complete laser back to repair.

a bit difficult trouble then, you need to change the whole fiber, by doing this you need special tools and professional technicians
