Nice video yes I worked on firewood before and it is to be a lots harder to get but good
It’s hard work for sure
If y’all don’t have one you need to get a Fiskers X27 splitting ax I am always shocked how easy it makes big chunks smaller to get them on the splitter
I’ll look into that Tyler

I’ve been wanting one of them log catcher tables on my splitter ever since I saw that one on Conner’s. I started building one today. Hopefully get ‘er finished tomorrow and get back to busting some wood.

As long as worked , i'd buy firewood , every year, but since retirement , i get it myself , i have more time than money, now bein retired . Yall keep up the Good Work, Take Care !! as Yall say ....Stay Country !! Love It !!
You definitely can’t beat wood heat!
Amen Brother !! Nothin like a Good Farr !!@@BackwoodsTN
Your videos kept coming in my recommend and decided to watch one, glad I did. Really cool to see some other young guys like myself split wood and do videos. Seems like there’s not many young guys that are into this stuff. Have fun!
Appreciate you checking out the channel! Yea I don’t have many viewers that are young so glad you could join us!
I love these videos. Thats a whole lot of fire wood
Thanks for checking in Tommy!
Around these parts ( northeast Oklahoma) a rick is 4ft tall, 8ft long, and 16" wide, or 1/3 cord. Price is $65 to $75 where it is. Delivered is extra, and deliverd and stacked is more.
That’s about what this went for as well! Thanks for watching
Looks like you are mainly selling boiler wood, it’s high volume and low margin. As you know, there is more money in residential firewood, but they like it dry and smaller. Some hearing protection and chaps wouldn’t be a bad idea. An Eastonmade Ultra splitter would be a good upgrade, it’s heavy duty and has a fast cycle time.
Nice loads of wood 🪵
Thanks 👍
New subscriber Enjoy the video you gotta good setup I'll be watching More of you So stay safe stay healthy And We'll see you again
Awesome! I’m glad you subscribed, I’m glad to have you along!

Great video. Being that i am from across the pond , it's good seeing other parts of the world so thanks for the drive along and history lesson. Wow that firewood order gave you a good workout 😅.
I’m glad you enjoyed it! It would be awesome to visit across the pond sometime
Good job Conner , good business for you keep it up . I believe a Rick is a cord 4’by 8’ by 4’
Thanks for watching Lyle
There was a splitter for the skid steer on marketplace for 800 earlier today.
I’d love to have one
Those are massive loads of firewood, all that help makes quick work. Happy New Year to you and your family
Appreciate the comment Michael

Good video I sold a lot of wood in 2010 when I lost my job I found out that I was not going to split sweet gum by hand went and bought a 37 ton splitter take care Happy New Year.
The woods always provides!
Good video and a lot of hard work for you guys! Hope you all had a good Christmas kinda Heart Racing with the fire! I see you are almost to 5k subscribers! Expecting you to be well over 10k to 15k this year!
I sure hope so Joe! I’m really trying to put a lot of work into the channel and turn it into something special
11 ricks of split oak delivered in the area of North Georgia I live would cost $2500. Great video.
Wow that’s crazy!
When you say North Ga are you referring to North or South of Dalton? I’m just curious. I live a little West of Nashville and our firewood sells for about the same price as these guy’s firewood.
Awesome Job Guys. when you say brick about the fire wood, is that a cord? 4'x4'x8' ?
A Rick is 1/3 of a full cord
Great job. Does the new road replace 127?
It sure does!
Your splitter should stand up then All you have to do is wrestle them big pieces over to the splitter and then you don't have to lift them or hit them with your godevil
You are correct Thomas
damn yankee checkin in. is a rick 1/3 of a cord? I’ve always gone by cords, 4’x 4’x8’. I just cut for my own heat, don’t sell at all. I get confused by “face cords” and other terms. seems like they mean different things to different folks depending on geography for one thing. Hope you can help me out. I enjoy your work.👍😀
Yea John to my understanding 1/3 of a cord is a Rick. Of course I’ve been wrong before
@@BackwoodsTN Thanks 🙏
A facecord is the same thing as a rick. 8’L x 4’H 16 inch pieces.
@@timothyboone5003 Thanks much
How much is a rick? I know how much a cord is but not a rick.
1/3 of a full cord.16inch long wood piled 4 feet high 8 feet long.
What Dan said haha
Thank you!@@danbarnett9518
But I'm getting confused. I'm seeing about three different videos of you on each one I don't know which one is the real you or what's going on ?
I thought the same thing the older brother just stole the channell who knows
We have two different channels. My family had Southern Brothers and I have Backwoods TN. The boys channel was getting strikes from RUclips and they cannot show the boys working so I started posting videos on my channel. No one has stolen anything we all work together and make videos together
No one has stolen anything Phil
I got all of them downloaded I like all of them, y'all have a blessed New Year's,
Why don’t you sell wood by the cord like everyone else ? Just asking.
Here in our neck of the woods it’s always been sold by the rick, or face cord.
@@BackwoodsTN 10-4. Be safe out there. ALWAYS LOOK UP WHEN YOUR CUTTING !!!!
Where is the other lil southern brother.. yall stole his show..whats going on ?
He was in the video Phil, you must have missed him haha
All the boys were in this video. The younger boys can not post the content they posted in the past. If you follow the channel and watch all the videos you would have heard the explanation of what has happened with their channel. No one has stolen anything, this is definitely a tight knit family that works together.
10 4 i haven't seen many videos from lil southern brothers in a while . And i was just wondering where he was. I enjoy watching yall.
@@stephanieperkins3048tks for clarifying i have not watched all the videos and have not kept up with who did what . I enjoy watching the boys logging.
