PROUD Texan here! This is so cool that you were able to vlog and show people this. You should definitely come to New Braunfels during the summer so you can float the river! Our wurst fest is the second biggest next to the one in Germany!
Born and Raised Texan! Can't wait to see where else you hit up! TONS of stuff to do here in TX! You should hit up Schliterbahn next time down in that area, voted World's Best Waterpark in years past, created the first ever uphill water coaster, and the "old/original" park with the chutes is simply the best!
Congratulations on their nuptials!!! An now have Pepperoni song in my head for some reason. In Sanford, FL they have a killer German Restaurant called Hollerbach Willowtree Cafe. In October they have block party for Oktoberfest for the whole weekend.
Fun fact: German chocolate cake isn’t really German. Baker’s “German” chocolate was developed by a Sam German who was English American. German chocolate is the only cake made with melted (German) chocolate, not cocoa powder, and the traditional frosting is made with pecans, coconut and a brown sugar frosting. My dad makes a great German chocolate cake. About the video? Great! 🍺🍖🥒🥩

I worked in New Braunfels and lived in Fredericksburg. After 18 years we moved last year. It's a great place to raise your kids and have a family.
Shush! 🤐
Anyone Else Ever Experience Wurstfest Before?
Never been to Wurstfest, but as someone from Germany that's been to these sort of festivals here, it was quite interesting to see
I love Wurstfest! Explaining it to others is hard, it really is something that you just have to experience 😂
Yes and I loved it!❤
Yes ;-) Thanks for including the Alex Meixner Band in your video. We hope you can make it out to another show sometime!
This is a beautiful wedding. Congrats to the newlyweds!!! 🎉
I'm getting ready to go back on Saturday! It looks like it's gotten way bigger in the 11 or so years since my highschool trip.
These 2 Longhorns definitely miss the annual visit down to Wurstfest!! Looked like you had a great time!
As a German: I would NEVER go to the original Oktoberfest, but WURSTFEST seems like a lot of fun😂
