I personally own every Ron trent record. This Is the best thing he ever did , up there with other 2/3 records. This kind of layering through synth stabs n piano keys and rhytmic progressions n breaks. Just freakin' wow. Se'vere lyrics prolly lifted their soul that much cause ,icing on the cake, vocals on this are somethin that rarely happens on House records...what a Singer! A real piece of art!!!!!!
I agree. I shied away from Vocal House for a long time for that very reason. It's a hard thing to get right, but when it works, boy, does it sound good. This is one of those. So beautiful.
