  • I still find it amazing that so many of the sinkholes in Mt Gambier are just sitting in people's backyards! I wanted to dive as many sinkholes as possible. So that meant going to some of the lesser known sinkholes to check them out!
    When the day started I had no idea what duckweed was...by the end of the day I was an expert!

    "Backyards" in Australia are not the same as backyards anywhere else it seems. They're huge fields!
    Backyards here in the UK are small-ish gardens behind your house.

    Incredible! That the sink holes are there on private properties. Surprise they didn't give access tho. Maybe something in there they don't want exposed to the public. It's their claim only. Y? It's called, "Private". But the adventure is still worth it. How cold is the water, Adam. Or is it warm.

    Hey everybody, I have a question about free diving emergency, and I couldn’t find a satisfying answer.
    Why can a free diver not use air from a diver during an emergency?
    The most answers I found there about the Boyle-Marriote law and lung over expansion injury, that the free diver had to ascend with the scuba diver for decompression and the respiratory arrest. And I understand all the concepts. But my understanding is all of those (except respiratory arrest) could be solved with rescue divers - I talk mainly about big competition. Yet people died in those events.
    Is there something I don’t see or forgot?

    • @robdumeny100
      @robdumeny100 3 года назад

      Because air leaving your lungs to inflate another lung is very risky and it depends on how far you are down. You're also giving the person carbon dioxide that you are giving them which is not good either.
