samn, this is so relaxing and so instrutive, you dont even say a word and yet you make everything so intuitive to learn just from whatching your work, it was a pleasure to whatch, thank you
It's very nice. I'm assuming that the small arrowhead is for birds and small mammals. I've been flintknapping a bit over the years but have yet to produce an arrowhead or any other sort of complete tool. I always seem to break the piece of stone I'm working on once I have it thin enough lol. I will not give up trying. I think it's partly down to me not being very good at flintknapping, and partly down to me not having the best pieces of flint. In my area the flint in the ground tends to be fractured from ploughing or from frost and snow weathering , although I do sometimes find nice decent sized pieces of dark/black flint. I only subbed to you yesterday so I look forward to watching more of your videos.
Outstanding. Your video work is so good that any narration would be a step backwards. I look forward with great anticipation to your next hundred videos.
i have a bunch of dogwood (either red osier or swamp dogwood) shoots to make into arrows. i was trying to reduce a thicker ones diameter and the outer growth ring ended up cracking from tension. id love to do a video and share my fletching skills. my friend showed me how to fletch without a jig and ive gotten pretty good at it! i have a half dozen stone and steel trade point arrows im sinew wrapping today for an arrow order :)
Your smile, at the end of your videos, says it all ... really a beautiful craft you are skilled in, thanks for sharing!
That smile in the end :)

So cool to see the craftsmanship behind an arrow!
Interesting technique, for glueing and feathers on the arrow. I've always been interested in knowing. ☺️☺️

I found that the red birch saplings and the red sumac looking stuff around old ponds make very good arrows
Хорошая работа!!! А где такие станки можно купить?
