In the tension test shouldn't you be measuring the pier itself not on top of the jack? You are basically testing how much stretch there is on the threaded rod pulling up on the pier not how far the pier is actually coming out of the ground or the pier stretching itself.
Excellent video but the compression test is flawed. The deflection of the pier tested in compression should be measured as the difference of the measurement of the deflection of the piers used to anchor the hydraulic jack.
Probably can't use the screw piers then. Rocks have to be less than the screw pitch or something. Basically means the rocks are going to have to be pretty small and not boulders. But with some the lawnmower sized new near ground penetrating ultrasound kit maybe you can pre-locate boulder free columns? and then drive a long bit of rebar down to sample columns the non-invasive tech suggests may be free of large rocks and design and layout the foundation accordingly (sounds a tad risky ;))? So many variables my head is starting to swell up and hurt.
Well now! you have undermined any trust that normal intelligent humans would have been convinced of from this video. Some of us didn't vote for our own destruction!
Nice video. Keep up the good work.

Helical Piers are great step forward in construction industry.
+Shota Mjavia for what are you helical piers exactly , do it use as foundation ?
@@nasirazizkwt1 in the above video are Helical Piers the screws
what about rocky areas with a lot of boulders ?
