I think the whole point of that scene was to show what it could be like working higher up the ladder as a POC in a white-owned corporation.
The Belly/Pouchless thing was a direct call back to last season when Bert revealed to Irving that there's told MDR have larva that grow in a pouch in their bellies that eventually consume and replace them.

Omn1: "Between all my other regular health issues, it's hard to discern what is and is not normal sometimes." Me: Dude. Same. I have BEEN there. And don't feel silly. Always look after yourself.
Honestly for me, I am fine either if she's Helena or Helly, but I really hope they reveal it soon because Helly is my favorite character and I want to enjoy her story without doubting her every move. Or if she's Helena, I want to be worried for Helly, if that makes sense? I am also 50/50 on the debate. I didn't doubt it was Helly until I saw the theories but for me the fact that Helly never walks with her hands in front of her, but Helena does, is the biggest clue that the person down there might be Helena. Either way, I hope we clarify it soon so that I can know whose story I'm investing my time in.
All this! I love how we’re all waiting for the “is she, isn’t she” reveal of Helly and eagerly anticipating it to happen soon- meanwhile, the show runners are like, “nah, you gotta wait *BUT* we _will_ have Mark getting confirmation about Gemma’s status *AND* he’s gonna agree to reintegrating… and Rhegabi’s going to do it… *THIS* same episode.” 🤯😱 Insane! And I love it so much!
Glad to hear you’re ok, Omn1! Might be worth it to look up costochondritis, it’s a sporadic inflammation of the musculoskeletal structure of the chest. I’ve dealt with it since my teen years and yup, it can be scary for sure! The usual indication is to take painkillers and let it pass, but of course, consult your doctor. Great reaction, btw! ❤️
Loved the reaction! 23:04 That scene reminded me of a scene in the movie *Goodfellas* when Karen goes to visit Jimmy and he offers her some Dior dresses that are “just around the corner.” Karen takes off, just like Cobel did. And Jimmy had the same reaction as Helena. 😂 I don’t think Cobel thought they’d kill her, I think she was worried that they were going to _Gemma_ her. And Yes, I’m using Gemma as a verb. 😂 Take care of yourself, Omn1media.
there's also something up with Cobel regarding that hospital wristband they keep showing us. it was in her house and now it's lying in her car on the passenger seat. it reads "COBEL, CHARLOTTE". some kind of mystery there too.
hey omn1 im so happy to hear you are ok. yes we love watching your videos but your health is higher prioirity. we will always understand and thanks for being so open about it because you don't have to share any of that stuff with us, it's generous that you did.
To your question at 25:13 ... for those of us that have an inner dialogue and can "talk to ourselves" (since apparently all people do NOT share this inner dialogue ability) ... I wonder if once your innie and outie are merged, if they still have a sort of "compartmentalized" mentality that persists even through the integration, and you could then not only have an inner dialogue with your outie self (like normal) but now also with your innie. So essentially you'd go from 2 inner dialogue participants to now 3. (This easily diverges into MPD and perhaps schizophrenia if you keep pushing it.) But then Mark's innie and outie could cooperate. The more challenging thing I think, and seemingly reiterated with the camera/cut work as he "integrates", is the flipping perception of the outie observing events inside Lumon, and the innie observing events out in the world. Your entire life would become a lot like those visual illusions that you keep resolving into a candlestick and then two faces. But it would be happening everywhere, all the time. That would be weird as hell. It's no wonder Petey was losing his mind entirely.
Don’t you think Helly has been too weird this episode? I think thats Helena trying too hard to act like Helly. Irv already noticed and the thing with Mark, where Helly would have kiss him, was awkward too. There’s other signs like the silence after she enters into the elevator while for Mark, Irv and Dylan we hear the sound that the innies are now awake. So good this episode!! I didn’t expect Mark to reintegrate so soon 😮 The next episodes are gonna be so much fun 🤩 This was also the first time that the credits were white with black letters. Until now it was always black with white letters. Maybe because Mark is now seeing the light and will discover Lumon’s dark secrets? 😜
Personally I don't, they both found out he has a wife after last time, she wouldn't just kiss him in this moment either way. They are both conflicted as hell right now and I still don't know what the benefit of helping him look for Ms Casey would be when the goal is to get him working again. The silence in the elevator I don't think is a clue. Like she could still be but there's nothing she's doing hard confirms anything to me.
Actually, I always was sure that Natalie's entusiastic behaviour is just a facade, while for real she is the Board, all of it. We never saw this Board and never heared it, except for a single "Yes", that could be simply be prepared record.
So is the plot of the show: four employees unknowingly resurrect their company’s founder who wants to take over the world? Is that what all the theories are leaning towards?
Hi Omni, no need to be apologetic for taking care of yourself! It’s always good initiative not to drag on health issues for too long like I tend to do 😅 even if it’s nothing 4:36 I think this is another piece of evidence that proves my theory that this is Helena, not Helly R. Helly would have taken the kiss because she initiated it at the elevator but Helena has too many inhibitions to just let go. 6:58 I think Milchick was kinda insulted at the notion that he would need a Kier in blackface for him to devote himself to the company. I feel like the expressions of Natalie is warning him not to misspeak because you never know who’s listening. That’s why she said when she received the gift she was very moved, since that should be the „appropriate“ reaction to the paintings. 9:11 You are right in thinking that that’s the elevator to the testing floor, otherwise it would have been a door with a handle at the end of the hallway, not an elevator door with a red triangle light. Now I’m wondering if the „exports hall“ Felicia mentioned and the hallway to the testing floor is one and the same. 11:46 The scene where Gretchen visits innie Dylan is a literal conjugal visit, because innies are literally in a prison. All communications are monitored. I have this feeling that Gretchen preferred this innie version of Dylan because she’s writing off this encounter to outie Dylan, and she’s more motivated to push her husband to work at Lumon, and innie Dylan is falling for it. My tin foil hat theory is that Gretchen my be a police officer in Kier that’s might have been bought off by Lumon to make ends meet. It’s so evil. 15:20 I feel like a lot of the goat department employees are homeless outside of Lumon, and they are actively experimented on in exchange for sustenance. Ms. Casey said to one of them that he „excels at stargazing“ and that indicates that his outie might not have a roof over his head. That also explains why some of the goat department employees are a bit shabbily dressed and unkempt. 23:26 I feel like Harmony wasn’t sure what Helena meant by „reset“, but some kind of realisation sank in after seeing Helena‘s driver. I think Helena‘s phone call to set up a board meeting is just a ruse to get Harmony inside. She doesn’t want Harmony in charge, but she can’t let her roam free either because she has leverage, and needs to be kept prisoner. I would even go as far to say that maybe Harmony is also chipped, she wouldn’t be so terrified of being „reset“ otherwise. 25:39 I theorise that it might feel like a literal info dump lol. And note that the difference in the ways innie and outie Marks speak became so obvious the second when innie mark began to surface. If what we’ve seen with Petey is any indication, the two personages will fight for dominance. However I get this feeling that all 4 innies will be martyred one way or another. I can’t picture a happy ending for the innies sadly.
Omni, get better soon. I hope you can join us on time for the fourth episode as apparently it will be a game-changer that breaks the internet and it will be easy to get spoiled on social media. Thank you for being the only reactor I visit who is actively following the show so I have some place to run to after every episode for further immersion💙🩵.
As a theologian, this episode is extremely religious. The "recanonicalization" is reminiscent of Jesus being depicted in different races and specific depictions, like the white Jesus, being used to send a message of who can be reflected in Christ. By recreating this in Kier, they set up this deified portrayal of corporate hierarchy. The religious parallel is furthered by Mark's appeal that the Mammalians Nurturable would go looking for a single goat. This references the lost sheep parable in the gospel where one would leave the flock of 99 to find the one sheep that is missing.
Oh man. Sorry you had a health scare. I know that kind a thing can suck. I started a new medication a few months ago. I had to go to the hospital right after starting it cause one of the side effects made me worry I had a serious condition. Everything turned out fine but I understand how worrying that kind of thing can be. Glad your ok. 👍
Agree 100% on the idea of reintegration for Mark happening this early in the show. I thought they said it's a 4 season plan, so I expected it to happen in that last season if it happened at all.
Does the dynamic between Cobel and Helena remind anyone else of John Locke and Ben Linus from LOST? That parking lot scene reminded me of the scene from LOST when Locke strolled into the Others encampment with Anthony Cooper over his shoulder wanting to go see Jacob…
I could see that. For me, it reminded me of the scene with in Goodfellas, with Karen and Jimmy, when he was trying to get her to go _just_ around the corner to get some Dior dresses.
About Milchick, I felt there were many metaphors in this episode about (not) fitting. First time he boldly contradicted his apparently-severed-robot persona in this show. It started last episode, but this one really did it for me. I also wonder if Kier was a woman in Natalie’s recanonicallized art. 😅 By the way, is it Mark praying in the convalescent Kier painting?
I'm 50/50, there's been no good argument one way or the other lol this episode went against everything I thought after being convinced she was Helena. Now I'm back to not being sure.
@@Omn1Mediaoh yeah and how ‘Helly’ smiled like a giddy kid when they were passing through the tiny goat hallway. (I think she was genuinely excited to play around and do detective with him). And how she asks Mark ‘is this it?’ in regards to the goat room (Helly R knew where it was last season so she wouldn’t ask for confirmation on its location)
@@Omn1Media In this particular episode I thought that Helly would have definitely kissed Mark in that moment, but Helena is shy and unaccustomed to such romance/wont make the first move. Plus the outtie definitely has a crush on him now lol. I also offered a few good observations in the comments😭🥺 from the episode 1 I think. Anyways😅 we’ll see maybe you’re right
I think that those pictures were kinda offensive and Milchick definitely felt this way. he couldn't show it though. Natalie too. the board was listening. (whatever the hell the board is). when I was watching this I was howling, the pictures were so stupid. I thought "what will be Omni's reaction to this when his video comes out?"
Ok, whether is serious or turns out to be gas…head to an urgent care not the ER, that way you wont be waiting 10 hours if its not serious and you’ll be fast tracked if it was
@@Omn1Media as a person from a country with a very different health care system than US... I find it wild that anyone has to wait 10 hours to be looked at by a doctor. and urgent care isn't open 24/7. this is literally insane. so glad you're ok.
@@nadiamotyleva Nah our urgent care's are only 8am-8pm here and btw I still didn't even see a doctor or get a room in that time haha but to be fair, it turned out alright, if it had been serious they probably would have rushed me somewhere. I stopped having any symptoms by the time I got there.
I have a theory about Ms. Cobel randomly leaving after she looked at the guy standing next to Helena's car: What if that was her "dead" husband she spoke about in the beginning from season 1? Lumon can clearly do something with supposed dead people via some process (be it cloning, re-animation, etc.) The moment she looked at him she looked completely disturbed and immediately turned around and left after being ready to go inside and discuss coming back with the Board. Maybe she is so invested in the Mark x Gemma progress because she wants it for herself. Maybe she is aware that her husband is one of these shells that are being re-built by the MDR work and she has just never seen him since he died. Would not surprise me in the slightest if Lumon uses part time innies on the outside since we know the capability is there (Gabby at the birthing cabin).
I hardly doubt Helena would be a good enough actress to emulate Helly. And nearly every reactor is completely missing Helly’s journey by thinking it’s Helena… And I think she’ll probably come clear to Mark about who she is when she learns about his reintegration.
You are not alone. I thought I was having a heart attack, went to the ER and was hooked up to monitors and everything when they told me it was just a panic attack. You're absolutely right, it's better safe than sorry. 🫂
I was thinking the same, panic attacks, bad heartburn, or perhaps heart palpitations or AFib. Never hurts to check that stuff out…if you have decent insurance to help pay for the tests.
Mark and Helly walked into a whole ass A24 department
I SCREAMED at the “You mean what quarter?”
That was such a badass transition, it felt like it was me
It wss so, “oh my, Kier! It’s really happening!” 🤩

And that Natalie may have actually been lying when she said she was honored to have received the same gift (since the board was on and they’re always listening).
I think the whole point of that scene was to show what it could be like working higher up the ladder as a POC in a white-owned corporation.
16:34 Lmao I thought Burt had been joking about the pouches rumor
Milkshake be like, "I'm okay with psychological torture, but blackface?!?"
Natalie expression eerily similar to the wide eyed maid in Get Out. Definitely an intention on the series part to reference the movie.
The Belly/Pouchless thing was a direct call back to last season when Bert revealed to Irving that there's told MDR have larva that grow in a pouch in their bellies that eventually consume and replace them.
I wonder if Milkshake draws the connection between the board offering the paintings and him offering the doctored newspaper to the innies.
Oooh, that’s gooood. 😏 I didn’t even think of that.
Maybe he’s going to start becoming disillusioned with Lumen. 🤔

By the way, is it Mark praying in the convalescent Kier painting?
Luv u buddy
4:26 I find it funny how you still think that this is Helly R (Innie)😂♥️ oh sweet summer child
Anyways😅 we’ll see maybe you’re right
Good morning
I think that those pictures were kinda offensive and Milchick definitely felt this way. he couldn't show it though. Natalie too. the board was listening. (whatever the hell the board is). when I was watching this I was howling, the pictures were so stupid. I thought "what will be Omni's reaction to this when his video comes out?"
Yeah, she was communicating big time with those looks, like “I know man, this is crazy. Just act greatful.” 👀🤫
Ok, whether is serious or turns out to be gas…head to an urgent care not the ER, that way you wont be waiting 10 hours if its not serious and you’ll be fast tracked if it was
Urgent care wasn't open when it happened sadly!
I stopped having any symptoms by the time I got there.
helly is def helena shes acting weird as hell
I have a theory about Ms. Cobel randomly leaving after she looked at the guy standing next to Helena's car:
What if that was her "dead" husband she spoke about in the beginning from season 1?
And nearly every reactor is completely missing Helly’s journey by thinking it’s Helena…
And I think she’ll probably come clear to Mark about who she is when she learns about his reintegration.
You are not alone. I thought I was having a heart attack, went to the ER and was hooked up to monitors and everything when they told me it was just a panic attack. You're absolutely right, it's better safe than sorry. 🫂
Yep. No shame in being aware and wanting to act
I was thinking the same, panic attacks, bad heartburn, or perhaps heart palpitations or AFib. Never hurts to check that stuff out…if you have decent insurance to help pay for the tests.
