I don't think there's any gen 4 sinnoh Pokemon cards either after looking at everything through pack points exchange, so sinnoh representation may be likely too? c: I could see that going with gen 2 additions because of later gen 4 evolutions like Gliscor & Gligar or the Togekiss line!

You're absolutely right! I hadn't even notice. Yes please, give me the Gliscor and Rhyperior EX (maybe Infernape and Lucario too? Please?)

Can you make a video analyzing cards from the base set-gym heroes/challenge era of the tcg that could be interesting in tcg pocket?

I could do this, a lot of that early stuff is fresh in my head from playing the TCG game for Game Boy, and I think it'd fit as to where the game is now. Based on your other comment, while I get the devs have a roadmap and would likely introduce TCG elements over time, power creeping too fast will make people feel like their investments aren't worth anything and could stop whaling, which would be the end of the game. I think they have to start slow as to not burn out casual players (see Master Duel and how quickly players left after facing meta decks from 2021).

Since the game is so early on, there's so many possibilities that it's hard to guess what'll happen. I like the idea of the miniset being elite 4 focused, and the main set being johto based.
Beyond that, I'd love if the game could get more personality. I appreciate how pocket doesnt expect your time in the same way DL/Master Duel do, but the game itself feels so empty. I'd love some event based on battling trainers from the games, or some references to the tcg gameboy game in there.

I would absolutely love a PVE event where we battle the "gym leaders" that have themed decks based around their trainer cards. Or yeah! The Final Four duelists from the TCG Game Boy game returning to TCG Pocket would be cool. I'd love to smack Ronald around again.

This too slow stuff is nonsense. We only have one set they don’t have to do anything drastic for a specific archetype. It’s simply because they wanted the poster Pokémon to be good in the first set to attract new players so it makes monetary sense to make them good. You even listed exactly why they’re good because they left out the types and strategies that counter them so that they’ll be good competitively at launch to make more money from people playing their favorite Pokémon. Simply making everything faster isn’t a good long term solution. They can make interesting abilities, tools, stadiums, berries, and attacks without just being a weakness or aggression contest. I think many pocket players forget the card devs were here since the release of the Pokémon tcg. The “problems” that they see are by design to get people interested in the next sets. They already have the sets planned out months or years before they officially release because they are designed in blocks or waves with separate design philosophies.
