@KiaraNicoleASMR Almost like when the pregnancy is done it's possible to lose weight. Plus gaining a few pounds doesn't equal being overweight. There's healthy gain *during* not *post* pregnancy, but even doctors will tell you when you've gone beyond that amount into obesity.

My grandmother smoked when she was pregnant with all 3 of her children. Apparently back then it was still not known to be harmful (people thought smoking was good for health) and she smoked progressively less each pregnancy. My dad was the oldest and got it the worst. They didnt have inhalers back then so in the middle of the night hed walk into my grandparents room blue faced and they had to give an epinephrine shot (adreneline). My mom also has asthma and so I inherited it from both my parents.
When I saw this clip, I grew a lot of reapect for the man. He cares more than some parents do.

They would think I was the bad person, they wouldn't bother pulling out a mirror.

I worked in an airline before and there are strict rules against pregnant women flying and we always have to ask women if they are pregnant. Some obese women actually get offended. So, we just tell them we ask this to every woman to shut them up. There was this one woman who got really offended started shouting and my female manager shut her up by saying "Honey, every airline ask this question to every female passenger. You're not special. Stop making a scene, you attention seeker". The passenger couldn't say anything and just left embarrassed.

It's not widely known but the condition that nicotine causes in fetuses is spinabifida and that this can be easily counteracted with a higher intake of folic acid. Many women who smoke for psychological reasons or circulatory reasons can't stop smoking when pregnant, and those women have healthy babies everyday. The more you know..
I had a Bilateral Mastectomy back in 1998, I can't tell you how many people asked me when I was due. My stomach was obviously big and more profound after my surgery, people felt stupid after I explained it was the Breast Cancer that made me look this way 😊
