When the reality is, there's nothing imaginative, clever, original, inspired, skilled, daring, unique, unparalleled or unprecedented about ripping off those closest to you, who trust you implicitly, would never suspect you, and subsequently never saw it coming. In the hierarchy of criminal acts, it ranks alongside robbing old ladies or the blind, grooming kids, and other despicable acts that take advantage of and prey upon the weak, defenceless, unsuspecting, & undeserving. All your ex-business partners achieved was making themselves universally reviled & despised, even by other self-respecting REAL criminals, who may not be above breaking the law, but would never lower themselves to that level. Whereas you came out of it with your honesty, honour, integrity, respect, regard, & reputation intact, albeit with your faith in fellow man somewhat shaken.... He proved to himself and all creation that he is truly, "A GIANT AMONGST LESSER MEN". And his wife, the kind of low-rent floozy they attract. These kind of deadbeats are usually, inevitably, on a one-way track to "Palookaville", that often ends in a prison cell, where they'll both end up relentlessly abused & tormented as someone else's "b!tch", being passed between cells & convicts like currency. Karma rewards the worthy in kind, and punishes the unworthy unkindly. You can look yourself in the mirror without shame or contempt, sleep peacefully at night, and move onwards & upwards to greater things with loved ones and true friends. He and his missus will always be waiting for Karma to settle scores, and drown them in the excrement they made of their lives. And when they hit rock bottom, in need of help, there'll be no one left to appeal to, that they haven't screwed, like you. Which in the end, only added to their burdens & suffering, and made their fate & circumstances worse. I reckon you're entitled to take some sly pleasure in that! 😈😃😄😆🤣 Happy New Year 2024!
Joe Frontier was a scam artist you could see it on the show sneaking around all the time. Trying to tell Danny not to spend money getting mad like it was his own money Danny was using.
His shop maybe real it maybe even working but I don't think that episodes are real they maybe manipulated to cut boring stuff and add interesting things like who the hell would want to watch unboxing of a car and sandblasting it
I always had a funny feeling with Danny's accountant guy when he was on the show. There was insincerity about him. I'm glad Danny found out about him. I liked the show and liked Danny. Ten years + on any show is probably long enough. Glad to hear Danny is doing okay.
I visited the shop in early 2020, it was FREE, merch was very reasonably priced, staff super friendly. Best of luck to Danny in all his future endevours.
Of course it was scripted, all these shows are. So what? We watch for entertainment and the producers provide entertainment. You have to be a real idiot to think it's all unscripted and unrehearsed. As for the crimes committed, that is a real shame. Koker was genuine in his trust of those he employed, it didn't make sense to him one of them would do this. Rock on Danny, the world is better with you than without you.
I toured his shop while visiting Las Vegas December, 2021. It was free, and if I may note, EVERYONE in Vegas has their hands out, no free lunches to be found. However, the shop tour was free and their merch was reasonably priced. Thx Danny.

Danny always talks/greets people with a decent level of manners and respect. He has a genuine passion for vintage anything. Thats why I tuned in. Have no use for smart ass sh!t talkers.

i watched it for the guys. i have redone 200 cars in my life and it is now boring to watch car work. i found danny and his characters entertaining as hell even knowing it's a tv show and much of it is scripted or contrived

A shady body shop / bar owner, arent they all? I watched the show a few times and anyone that didnt realize it was scripted believes wrestling is real too! Really the guys driving around with his buddy looking in driveways , then he stops at a home where he sees a car he likes, knocks on the door and asks the owner if he can buy it or at the least take it for a drive. AND THE HOME OWNER SAYS OKAY SURE. Never noticing the film crew , lighting, and sound crew standing in his doorway. I own a 1958 Corvette excellent condition original . If a creepy looking guy like Danny and his buddies knocked on my door looking to buy my car Id say go away. If Danny and his buddies asked to start uo or take my car for a drive, Id show them the business end of my Remington 12 guage 00 buck.

I like the show , and I think Danny’s a great guy , I didn’t like that guy who ran the office. My favorite episode was when Danny went for a ride and left that guy out in the desert. I never even bothered to learn his name.

There are still reruns of Counting Cars on TV. Reruns can be seen on regular antennae TV, and don't need the History Channel to watch it.
