- Dog Trainer Chad works Hound Dog Tucker at a local farmer's market. Chad explains what he is looking at while walking through a big crowd of people and other dogs. His equipment layout is a leash, remote collar, and bait bag filled with diced up hot dogs.

That was amazing! You are working with Pockets right now and I already see a difference! I can't wait til I can take Pockets out in the community like that!!!
Pockets is such a cute name!
When you say "no" and bump the remote collar, do you not repeat the command/cue you requested afterwards? I do similar but I would say "Tucker heel" now he's in a job or position, of he broke position "no" then tap tap (or hold until back in position) and repeat "heel". To ensure there is absolute clarity and no confusion. Just curious why you don't repeat/remind what the job at hand was, cause sometimes a dog can also get confused or thrown off by the correction. Definitely not to repeat commands upon asking, but I tend to repeat it after saying "no" and providing the PP. Especially if the dog gas a sensitive startle response and gets a little confused, but to sort of "reset" the task.
Also, for this exercise, what motivation level are you using on his remote collar? At this point is it just a working level, lower "tap on the shoulder" level? Or do you up the level to something more motivating? Or is it dependent on each dog or behaviour they choose? For example a slight pull ahead or quivering versus a lunge/reaction may require different levels? I find if they continue to break position and you're having to correct it, the level is likely not motivating enough. Curious what you think!
Share with my roommate, their parents say ecollars won't work on hounds. but i keep finding proof they do.
They just don't know how to train :p
wow, awesome i enjoy it
This is such a goal to be able to bring my 1.5 year old husky with me anywhere we go. He is decent on leash (as far as pulling goes) but once a dog approaches he does have leash aggression. Do you provide online training options??
Aside from our channel, we do not - but we train dogs from all over the country! If you’re interested in training please email us! Info@caninerevolutiondogtraining.com
