In his book, What I Talk About When I Talk About Running, novelist Haruki Murakami writes, “Exerting yourself to the fullest within your individual limits: that’s the essence of running and a metaphor for life.” Alyssa Mitchel’s project picks up on that theme and explores the physical and mental grit required of any of us-athletes or non-athletes-to push ourselves to our personal limits.
Enjoy a night of dance this month at the iMPACt Center for Art & Dance! July 26th and 27th is the inaugural performance of our very own artist in residency program-iMPACt Genesis. The two-evening performance is the culmination of our 9-week residency program that gave five Bay Area dance and movement artists nearly 50 hours at the iMPACt Center to create fresh new art to celebrate with you!
