Cheers for the shout out Bob👍sure you'll agree the cairns were really impressive. We didn't find that path right up to the viaduct , waited for a while to catch a shot of a train going over but no luck.
Back in my working life I used to drive a lorry delivering building material in this area , not great roads for a 12 metre flatbed truck, but fantastic scenery , the cairns are definitely worth a visit
@DP1807 Now I'm of an age where I can get away with stuff I tend to Stop and shout at people who stop in passing places for a picnic, they probably just think that I am just some old nutter . and that is partly true
You mentioned murdoch Patterson ...very prolific architect up north ...I remember his name from Dingwall railway station at Dingwall He did loads of stations
It really is beautiful, a lot of folk see these stones as the inspiration for the standing stones at Craig na dun in Outlander - but one of the hills above Inverness is Craig Dunain and there is a standing stone there too. Hope you enjoyed, it's a magical place if you go at the winter solstice. This summer there were lots of reports of tourists taking stones from clava cairns as keepsakes ☹️
Hi both👍🏻 can you advise me please. Just fitted a 100 watt solar, and linked to dual charger, 1 for engine battery, 2 for small tv battery. Bob does it matter which is linked to battery 1 on solar charger. Good to see your Scotland trip, lots of ideas for spring, also does pops get any midge bites while out and about. Cheers 🍻 penguin peter 🐧🐧
Your dual charger should charge whichever battery needs charge. I believe that battery 1 is normally engine, but I'm not sure it matters, unless you can configure the charge differently for different batteries.
Those ancient stone circles are really fascinating. Thanks for sharing this with us. Pete & Kaz. 👍👍😀😀

A train came across as I was walking away, round the corner, so I missed it too!
That path is the road

Great video 👍 But the question is did you get passed that car at the end of the video 🤔😊
Yes, the lady was picking up her children, she came rushing over and moved it. Very apologetic!
😊👍
Fab
Jenny isn't small , she was just standing against a rock in the distance
All a matter of perspective!
