A bitless bridle is the greatest idea I have ever heard!! What a fabulous way to lessen the stress & pain on a horse!! You are fabulous, Jesse!!! I so love watching you & Matt treat your horses and every other animal in your life so much better than others treat them!! It warms my heart!!
It looks really really attractive. I can’t help wondering how you manage a horse who wants to disobey and misbehave. Would you feel safe riding a stallion in the company of other horses with a bitless bridle? I rode a Thoroughbred stallion for many years and always (always!) was extremely alert so as to hopefully anticipate potential problems. I would have been afraid to use a bitless bridle.
I never thought I'd see the day when a horse could be ridden without a bit. How fantastic that horse lovers everywhere challenged the traditional methods of breaking in a horse and how we ride. Life for most horses are much kinder and people understand horses so much better. Jesse you truly are an inspiration to horse lovers everywhere. Not just because of your bitless bridle but also your understanding of horses.
I am so impressed with my Nalanta bridle! The quality is amazing. So well designed, soft and padded. My horse loves it.In America, the most common bitless is the hackamore, which can be too severe if not used correctly. The Nalanta, is perfectly kind and functional for your horse!
Mine just arrived on Saturday and I already tested it on my horse that day! As my gelding has a very thin muzzle, the noseband is a bit loose and needs another hole on it but it fits perfectly tho😍
The Bitless Bridle looks amazing 😍, you’re an amazing inspiration in the Equestrian community, keep up the amazing Work Jesse, can’t wait to see how much more you grow in 2020!
@@JesseDrent what maker of dressage saddle do I see you ride in? I don't see anything like that in USA. Would love to look into finding one on line that ships to USA. I have Gypsy Vanners and they are 14 hh to 15 hh and great for dressage. I competed on many warmbloods and no longer into that kind of large sport horse so I started buying and breeding the Vanner which is a cob size so I'm going to purchase one of your bitless bridles and see how my mare goes in it but you saddle looks much more comfortable then mine and I like that the legs are supported in the front. I've had a back injuring and I bet that would help me in my riding. That's the main reason I can no longer handle the big horses since I cannot get on them without a big mounting step which when out hacking and the need arises to get dismounted I cannot get back on. I never want to stop riding so the smaller sport horses are better. I'm going to start out with a cob bridle see if that fits first. Say hello to Matt and I love his new product line! I will give you my opinion of your bridle and if the horses do well I will order more.
jessee you need to watch out and take care of matt a little more---sometimes he seem slightly insecure when you start moving away from him---also let him spend some money if he wants to---you do both of you guys do awesome videos all the time -- most of our remarks are made to be helpful a nudge
Lovely bridle Jesse. I love the way your beautiful horse just stood quietly throughout your demonstration. A credit to your training and empathy with your horses. ❤️
I love kindness to horses, a bit less bridle seems to me the way forward. It doesn’t interfere with breathing as a way of control as I’ve heard some do. Brilliant . Love the way you both love and care for your horses.
My horse loves this bridle! And every horse I've used it on has gone better in it than in their regular bridle. I ordered this bridle because I was backing my mare and when I put a bit in her mouth she kept on grinding her teeth - my trainer said she'd get over it - she did not - so I decided to get a bitless bridle and try that. She was much happier right away. Then I decided to try it out one some horses that have been using a bit all their lives to see what the differences was. First I tired it with my old girl who I've been riding for 11 years and wow do I wish I had this bridle when I started with her - some issues were fixed almost instantaneously! I also tried it on a friends quarter horse and she commented too on the change - he usually in the past was the type of horse that you had to really encourage to bring up his back and move into contact - but with this bridle he was very willing and forward - moving into contact - you could really feel the powerhouse of a horse underneath you. The thing I find really interesting with this bridle is both of the horses that were used to being ridden in a bit moved into the contact and were more willing to bring their backs up and engage the hind end. Which honestly just makes sense; since if the horse is used to getting jabbed in a tender area of their mouth when they do - it would be understable - expected even, for the horse to shy away from contact. Since unless the rider has extremely steady hands they're going to accidently move the bit in ways that they don't mean to. And as riders we just expect for our failures to not impact the horse's attitude. Though obviously it is still necessary to have steady hands with a bitless bridle I think our small errors as riders don't travel back to the horse as strongly making them more willing to not let our mistakes impact their performance.
That looks great and the fact that you think of the horses comfort to me says alot about you. But for me it's a given, because I know how much you love your horses. Great video and glad you gave everyone an example of how to put it on properly. Good luck on your new bridal. Best always Rusty
My horse likes the Nalanta bridge more then his normal bridle and I never thought that i could ride him bitless and when i started with him he was so more happy then with his old bridle with bit. And my horse is a Spanish horse so as you know some of them can get scared pretty quickly.. well mine is a jumper and he goes much easier in it then with a normal bridle so the best bitless bridle I’ve ever tried!
Emporio is a true reflection of you both ... your calm mannerisms and respect reflect in an amazing stallion. Thank you for this video .. we want to try this on both of our horses. 🐴❤️
I can say I been using this bridle for awhile on a few different horses. This my favorite go to bridle. Differently well kept secret here in the US. Wish more people known about it.
I remember the vidio of your trip to Spain, in which Matt explained how he felt concerning bridles that had spiked nose bands. So glad that there's a better option in bridles out now.❤
I bought the brown bridle a few months ago. The horse size fits the Friesian-Percheron but the reins are a couple of inches too short. The bridle also fits my ster Friesian who has a longer but narrower head, I just have to adjust the bridle. In case one of you has a larger / draft size horse the horse size will fit. I am happy with the bridle and will probably purchase a black one so I do not have to keep adjusting the one I have between the two horses. Nice job Jesse, proud of you!. :-)
Thank you very much for this explanation about your Bitless Bridle! My mare goes well both with a bit and a Bitless Bridle if they are steady and clear (not too padded on the nose but not too thin either)...it will be my next purchase for her for sure!
So excited to see Emporio showing off this bridle. He is SUCH a good boy, especially for a four-year-old stallion. I think, however, that if he could talk, he'd be saying "I want the black and the bling, because I AM fancy." ;) But love the design and how you explain why it fits--for the comfort of the horse!

Jesse, you are well known as a natural, supple, elegant, light touch rider. And, we have all come to appreciate your commitment to treating your animal in a caring and loving way. If you were to take a new PRE into dressage work like Matt is doing with Emporio, you could show everyone how far you can go bitless. Im really glad to see you promoting this product more, it is a really nice design and looks super comfortable for the horse! I was wondering if you are ever planning on making a synthetic bridle for people who prefer not to use leather? I would love to buy this product, it looks great aesthetically but I can't get on board with the leather side of things. Anyway, I look forward to future videos!
Non leather products are made from plastic, which is acquired through oil, a very destructive enterprise, and then take a long time to decompose and pollute the environment after it does.
@@gracelewis6071 okay then, are you suggesting that leather is more ethical than plastic? I understand plastic isn't good for the environment however if made to a high standard the bridle will outlast leather and of course, doesn't harm any animals.
Jesse, do you think this would be effective with Gaited horses that carry their heads a bit high, nose out, not on the vertical? I’m referring to the Tennessee Walkers here in the states. I’d appreciate your input. Also are you shipping to the states?
I had the British hackamore bit less bridle , also worked very well. Hope you are well Jesse, have not watched your videos for a while., what’s happened to the partner, can’t remember his name. Blessings to you Jesse
I purchased one today for my 5 year old FresianSporthorse. I admired the bridle on Matt’s bit-less ride and then your videos about it. It looks very comfortable for the horse and the quality seems nice. Hopefully, I will report back with a happy riding review. Do you have any leather product that you recommend?
Hi Jesse, can I long rein in the Nalanta bridle please? I wanted to get used to it, see how she stops and turns, before I am riding her and we are just doing groundwork at the moment. Where is the pressure and release happening, is it nose and poll? Will it still release with long reins or will it get stuck in on position which I wouldn't want. Thank you!
Great design. I'm just wondering why you have the reigns placed in front of the curb strap. Is there a particular reason for that? My inclination would be to switch it so the reigns would be behind the curb strap. I'm considering ordering, but I'd like to have this cleared up before ordering. Thank you.
Molly’s Metal Free Horsmanship My horse needs a bit lol. He HATES bitless and the pressure on his face. He also hates neckropes too. I use a full cheek snaffle with a rubber bit haha
@Molly's Metal Free Horsmanship Why does nearly everyone use these rope halters? These are just as bad as a bit. Would you want knots in your face? I'm sorry I just really can't understand it..🤨
Jesse.i LOVE This.As i have said i made a hackamore(bitless bridle) back in Early 70s OUT OF HAYSTRAY BRAIDED.i am So Glad riding has Come so Far.and Bareback.oh.How is Andorah ? She is with you,so she is Well. What lenght (in cm) are the sides and the diameter of the noseband for sizes COB and FULL? I have a thoroughbred with a medium sized head and I use cob or full depending on brands.
How does the ring differ to a hackamore with a shank ? Is the nose pressure more direct then the poll pressure as there is no shank or does the ring rotate about the same? :)
Emporio is such a sweetheart to stand so well. He is always the star of the video for me.
Have a good day today guys. D.

@@gracelewis6071 bruh I'm a vegan, don't talk to me about helping the environment xD
@@alvasouthwood5388 That was obvious. I'm asking you to care beyond ideology.
@@gracelewis6071 okay then, are you suggesting that leather is more ethical than plastic? I understand plastic isn't good for the environment however if made to a high standard the bridle will outlast leather and of course, doesn't harm any animals.
EMPORIO🧡🧡🧡 just looks so gentle!
Very well made bridle Jesse. Good luck
Hi You are as gentle, sweet and kind as magnificent horses
Thank You
Looks amazing. How to get one?
I love the fact that you ride bit less!!
Jesse, do you think this would be effective with Gaited horses that carry their heads a bit high, nose out, not on the vertical? I’m referring to the Tennessee Walkers here in the states. I’d appreciate your input. Also are you shipping to the states?
Yes, Nalanta ship worldwide. =)
I had the British hackamore bit less bridle , also worked very well. Hope you are well Jesse, have not watched your videos for a while., what’s happened to the partner, can’t remember his name. Blessings to you
Jesse
What size wears Emporio in the Video?...full? Not sure which size to take and my Lusitano has ja quiet similar head to Emporio🙂
I love the bridle! It looks awesome!
We just got ours but we had a lot of trouble with the reins they were really hard to put on. the rest is perfect tho
Emporio is an amazing model😍😍
Emporio is such a sweet baby angel, I love him
Handsome looking bridle well done Jesse😘
I am buying a black one come Spring or Summer next year!!
You take so much care about how they feel.it seems so Good to see.k.
I have decided to buy a wild mustang from one of the us holding pens I am going to go bitless and this is the bridal I choose
Thank you!
Might be a bit late, but yeah, you can definitely do groundwork in a bitless bridle!
dit hoofdstel is echt geweldig!! Het heeft een superfijne werking en een geweldig resultaat op mijn paardje
Great design. I'm just wondering why you have the reigns placed in front of the curb strap. Is there a particular reason for that? My inclination would be to switch it so the reigns would be behind the curb strap. I'm considering ordering, but I'd like to have this cleared up before ordering. Thank you.
I think it gives a more global distribution of pressure because the wheel rotates vs. more specific pressure on the noseband.
I ride with a rope halter and a lead rope without bits and metal and that’s the best thing ever
Me too, for the most part
Molly’s Metal Free Horsmanship My horse needs a bit lol. He HATES bitless and the pressure on his face. He also hates neckropes too. I use a full cheek snaffle with a rubber bit haha
@Molly's Metal Free Horsmanship
Why does nearly everyone use these rope halters? These are just as bad as a bit. Would you want knots in your face? I'm sorry I just really can't understand it..🤨
Rope Halters can damage your horse’s poll if they pull back suddenly
Jesse.i LOVE This.As i have said i made a hackamore(bitless bridle) back in Early 70s OUT OF HAYSTRAY BRAIDED.i am So Glad riding has Come so Far.and Bareback.oh.How is Andorah ? superschön in dunkelbraunem Leder! mit goldfarbenen Beschlägen würde ich die gebisslose Trense sofort kaufen!
What lenght (in cm) are the sides and the diameter of the noseband for sizes COB and FULL? I have a thoroughbred with a medium sized head and I use cob or full depending on brands.
Should i get the size pony ore cob for my Icelandic Horse? He is 1, 40 m and his bone structure is in the midrange.
It's a beautiful bridle design! Should be proud of yourself ^_^
How does the ring differ to a hackamore with a shank ? Is the nose pressure more direct then the poll pressure as there is no shank or does the ring rotate about the same? :)
What I am wondering about the bridle is...Won't the round piece rotate each time you pull on the reins and rub against the side of the horse's head?
He explained that in the video :)
Great for a well broke horse. And definitely not for beginners. Has it been approved by FEI ? USEF?
Wich size for an arabian? Love this bridle
isn't that just a normal lehmenkühler glücksrad bridle?
