2 years ago I needed new Kwanzaa products and saw places like Walmart pushing Kwanzaa that was so weird to me. Thank God Hakim's bookstore in West Philly was still open. My dad(God rest his soul) would always go there and support them because they were black owned and he read everything concerning African/black. I was so happy the store was still open and I found everything I needed for Kwanzaa. That was love. And they are still open and that's double the love.

I don't know if the entertainers think that they're doing something for all of us because all of us don't make the curated money that they make. You don't make it big in the entertainment field until you "cross over" in America. Trick is that even the color "green" in some circles doesn't trump the color "white". This is a reality that I think will never change after the door closes from the room that you just left.

Same here, I take care of my mother, so my funds are with her, I hope they rethink this one.
