The USA would have been taunting us forever if they'd won that game. Anyway I'm looking forward to the worlds in May. I want to see if Canada can match Sweden's unbelievable record of winning both Olympic and Worlds in the same season. And I'm hoping that Vancouver and Pittsburgh meet in the finals....I bet the Swedins would love to get their hands on that cup, they probably deserve to.
Yes I think every hockey fan around the world, except those from Canada, wanted us to lose. Well hopefully Canada can do what only Sweden has managed--to win OC and WC in the same year. btw I hear the opening game of WC is between Germany and the USA and that there have been 76,000 tickets sold! Like to that one game! I hope I haven't read that wrong, but apparently it has set the record for tickets sold to one game. Well good luck in WC, may the best team win.
I guess you guys didn't feel sorry for Finland then when the USA got 6 quick goals? And I'm wondering if Sweden is ever going to get the winter Olympics. I know you did a long time ago (I think) but it might be time for you guys to bid again. Lots of money but it brings lots in too. This was a special time for us. I can feel the relief in the whole country now, because no one wanted to lose to the States. They got us in juniors this year and had been bragging until the Olympic final. Thank god
Why would I want Foresberg playing for Canada? Canada just won Olympic gold, and Forseberg's team finished last. Why the hell would I want Foresberg or any Swedish player? I'm quite happy with our Olympic gold and our number one ranking in the world. Give your head a good shake.

And yes I'm not loco, Forsberg is a wonderful player but you guys are in all the Crosby vids saying he sucks so I wanted to let you guys know how that feels when a good player is bashed on in youtube. 2 years ago I told you Canada would win gold in Vancouver and you replied that we wouldn't even get a medal. Just goes to show that you can be crap one tournament and then win the next.
It sounds like maybe your coach was happy with just the one win in Turin and wasn't prepared to put too much thought into defending your gold. Time for him to go then. I bet you one day Forsberg is coaching Sweden in the Olympics, like in 8 years maybe.
Sure he's the best hockey player in the world. He isn't even in the top 25 scoring all time in the NHL and he should never have been on the Olympic team for Sweden. You may as well have just had a team full of granpas!

And even though they lost the Olympics the Americans are claiming that we got lucky, so glad we beat them. So you want Detroit to miss the playoffs because they are dominated by Swedes? Looks like you probably will have Lundqvist on your WC team because Rangers suck really badly. I'd way rather see Sweden win it than Russia, I can't stand them either.
