I run the FCS AMPS headset.
Changing the AAA batteries is much faster than recharging while out in the field. The 3.5mm connector doesn't lock into the headset like the connector on the AMPS. My V60 PTT can hook into a phone if I need, so the blue tooth is not needed. They are also less expensive.

Btw an update for the headset, for me the arc rail kept popping off after a few weeks, so I used a screw and attached the headset through the arc rail into the helmet. It still swivels and works 💯
So far I’m not really impressed with their customer service. After trying to contact them for a question I quickly sent multiple emails and tried phone calls to cancel my order. The phone number on file does not work and most of my emails have been returned due to failure to be sent. I finally received a shipment confirmation for that headset but at this point I’m just trying to get my money back.

Me and my friend we both use bluetooth airpod-ish headphones (only 1) And Discord. Works fine only bad thing is there is no way to use ptt.

You would need a ptt, one that has a baofeng connector

There are so many options out there. Evike.Com has really good options on there. Unfortunately I don't have any experience with any guns in that price range to personally recommend. But I did a little research and this one here seems like a good one to start off with!

Can you also use these for discord calls while having your phone somewhere in a pocket? That would be next gen airsoft communication, instead of needing radio's and ptt adapters etc.
I've not tried discord specifically, but it should work. I answered a call from my wife with it while playing 🤣

@@dtooscar974 I havent, but might try and buy a motorcycle bluetooth headset, these are super cheap and I think it could work if you attach these to a helmet or mask.

Been using gen6 for a min and yes i did listen to music during range qual😂
And no gen 6 doesnt have bluetooth
I switch between the 2 when im in the field for longer periods
How does it compare to the FMA Ops Core Amps? I have been impressed with mine.

Sadly not, they weren't like gaming headsets lol. But they were still very clear
Can you remove headphones from the band that goes over the head so you can put them on helmet mount?
Yeah! It's what I did. It's super easy.
And It comes with arc rails that you can attach them to instead.
Note: I did have to screw the arc rails and headset into the helmet, as after a few months the arc rails got a little loose by themselves

Sentivo chiaramente parlare un mio amico a 15m di distanza, alle mie ore nove, ma mi sembrava che fosse davanti a me. Poi sono incompatibili con le radio Midland: ho provato 3 PTT, compreso l'originale e non funzionano. Vanno soltanto con radio Baofeng
io ho le fcs amp, sono buone, devo ancora provarle sul campo

How did you manage to get in contact with them? I ordered a pair and it’s still processing after 4 days. They haven’t returned any emails and the number listed on the website as a Michigan phone number is an inactive number.
I guess im too late but they dropship the stuff for double some times even more so you just got ripped off

on bluetooth mode does the music stop when someone is on comms or is it just overlapping
I will have to test that for you. When I was using it the voice came in much louder that it was easy to hear them. But note the outside audio is not amplified in this mode

Good idea, I'll probably update the audience in a future loadout video. They are still going strong. The only thing that I had happen was that the arc rails weren't staying on, so I had to screw them into the helmet. They work fantastic now
Hey man, so how much better is the mic environmental audio quality? i really need ear pro as i use gbbs but the z tacs i have are so artificial sounding i dont use them most of the time, its to the point that i sometimes cant tell if its a hit or just the mic picking up a twig brushing past me. In addition does it also cut out audio for very light sounds like the z tacs? i hear sordins have a higher threshhold for this and was the most notable thing on a comparison video. I may order these from the UK so need to make sure theyre decent in the features i mentioned

Hey sorry for the late response!
But these are a bit better than the z tactical headsets, they don't cut out as frequently with light hits, but sometimes they still do. The mic quality is pretty decent. The biggest drawback with them as with the z-tacticals is the directional audio pretty much being stereo. Can be hard to pinpoint certain sounds.
But they are definitely an upgrade on the ztacs for sure. But I'm sure the sordins or real peltors will be better, just more expensive

Just a standard ptt that's connected to a baofeng with a kenwood connector

It can use a ptt or Bluetooth. if you are on a call with Bluetooth it will just be active the entire time the call is on.
