- In the new Patch 1.09 for WWE 2K22, they added a bunch of improvements to the game. One includes an option to fine tune your PC settings. This includes capping the framerate at your monitors refresh rate. (VSYNC) If you're running on a monitor higher than 60Hz, the animations will freak out and causes... well... this to happen.

I think this is a good feture because it allows you to go by the menues WAY Faster if you're in creation, and then when you try to play you can turn "Timed Game Update" back on and the speed will be back to normal

Just go to the graphic settings and put on "Timed game update" that will stop the extra speed for the game at least worked for me.

game no longer allows me to change resolution in windowed mode to what my actual monitors resolution is

Same happened to me. Any ideas on how to fix this? I tried taking V sync off. Tried changing my screen from 360hz to 60hz. Tried messing with the Nvidia control panel and nothing. I did manage to slow it down to regular speed by changing my refresh rate speed but it'll go super fast whenever there's a replay or action cam move being performed.
Enable Time Game Update on the Extra settings menu and it will fix your game , before doing this my game was running WWE2k22 at 1440p Ultra Max Settings at 300 + fps and it was going fast like this video but after that it fixed it and it's constantly at 60fps and no fast paced crap

@@balakrishnanr2493 You don't even need to enter the graphics card control panel. Just turn on that option that was added with this update in the video option.
@@balakrishnanr2493 I can't change the resolution either. Anyway, the high speed phenomenon will be solved if you follow the method I wrote.

@@LLIMIT i did find a solution for amd, you have to open the amd software
-go to the gaming tab
-choose wwe 2k22
-enable chill mode and set max fps to 62 and min fps to 60
@@stefaustinovic I’m going to do this tonight. My game hits 60fps most of the matches and randomly drops to low 50,s then back up to 60 so I think this should help my situation. I fiddled around some but forgot about the Radeon chill and frame rate adjuster
@@YGTVYassirsGamingTechVlogs31 really hope it helps friend. my framerate still skyrockets during some cutscenes during moves, making it difficult to counter, but its rare and i still complete most matches without this happening
