My friend recommended this film to me when it first came out. I will say this, I needed to rewatch it to fully understand the story and it became one of my collection ever since.
I remember watching this movie when I was younger, and being blown away, despite not *really* understanding what happened. All these years later, I rewatched it, and I feel like I *finally* understood it. Truly a brilliant film.
My first Nolan film, saw it a few years after it came out and thought it was brilliant. What was funny was I watched Insomnia shortly afterward and didn't even realize they were both directed by Nolan, even though they were always linked in my mind because they played with the same ideas. I love directors that trust (rather than abuse) their actors. I had no idea so much improv was going on, they did a great job.
I appreciate you bringing all these wonderful movies into the spotlight and providing details on how they were made. The finished films stand on their own but it's the process of how they were created that I find intriguing. Christopher Nolan is a master film maker who deserves to be studied. I can't imagine the number of choices he has to make during a films production yet he appears to do it so flawlessly from writing to casting, filming and editing.
The funny thing is is saw the movie because of Guy Pearce. I loved LA Confidential so I could wait to watch Momento. I watched multiple times on DVD, working it all out and digging the film artistry. It's a serious work or art. One of the most original modern films made.
5:25 wtf ...I didn't know this. 9:05 I forgot how DVDs from the early 2000s had cool little features like this that made them damn near like New Game+ lol. Another one was the "choose their fate" feature of the DVD of Final Destination 3
Ahh Memento... a movie that has never interested me, didn't know it was a Chris Nolan film. I would've overlooked this doc normally but noticing it was a Kolo Kino clip decided to watch it. Now I've gotta see this movie. Your docs are informative & interesting & really open up a movies potential. I've watched several already about movies I love, now you have turned me onto a movie I wouldn't have watched into a must see. Another great job
This & The Prestige & Batman Begins are easily his three best films for mine. Basically haven't liked anything else he's done since The Prestige. Hopefully the latest movie goes back to the style of these more interesting films and not the pretentious over the top action blokbusters he's gone for since.
This is true about the cost of union member. My roommate made $150 a day but when he got enough hours/credit to be unionized he was paid $450 a day…he spent about 6-8 months working as a non union crew..at the same time he gained all these experience and his boss rewarded him with a “promotion”
Love the content but can we please get the voice actor who is speaking words written by Nolen to actually try and imitate Nolen or at least just use a normal voice rather than this ridiculous one he is currently doing!

By far my favorite movie. Saw it like 50 times and really understood it the last 5 😂

And it has Callum Keith Rennie as Dodd. Love it.

I had no clue that Teddy was played by the same guy that did Cypher in the Matrix.
Have always considered Memento Nolan's best, while Insomnia is by far his most underrated.
Spot on!

Countless RUclips videos make money from this amazing movie. Can't remember to forget it
Couldn’t buy a fuk2giv
Eventually this movie will not be made , and Christopher Nolan will be a kid
@@iancraig8543 🤣🤣🤣 remember Sammy Jenkos, Benjamin button
According to IMDB, Nolan is remaking Memento - will be interesting to see if the new version holds up against the original.

Thank you for your feedback!
Carrie Anne Moss, yeah Buddy.
Does anyone know where you can stream Memento??? Soooo hard to find
I wouldn't call it hard to find. You can buy or rent it on iTunes, for example - that's just the first place I looked.
Guy was a body builder....lol..I don't know why but that blows my mind.
Seriously, he never looked it, featherweight class? lol. He looked good to me, though. :D
He was on vacation at his parentses place. Sheesh. Do you speak English?

yes this is the one thing, what's bothering me with this channel
If this character keeps restarting shit who is dying and bleaching his hair?
