I think he died the first punch zeus landed on him coz since the start of the fight, adam had dodged every single move of zeus until he got blinded and that first punch killed him. Zeus is very powerful and adam knew that one hit from him would cost his life.

1) That's because gods winning and heroes losing is what''s expected by everyone. A human losing to a god after a long fight is still above what anyone but humanity's champions could ever hope to do, but a warrior god losing to a human IS something embarassing for all gods, even the weakest. 2) Of the gods that lost, we have poseidon, heracles, zero and hades. For Poseidon, everyone was shocked, but that's because that was the first time. With Heracles, even humans threw a fit, and tried to lapidate Jack (who had almost died for them). Not really a honorable way to act. With Zero/Hajun, the gods were just surprised from Buddha's strength, and Zeus merely repeated that they couldn't allow humans to surpass them. They didn't throw any fit, also because they had no attachment to Hajun. And we haven't seen the reaction to Hades' death yet. So I'd say the gods aren't that childish
I've read quite a few battle series, but this is the only one that made me cry. My man Adam did his best for his children. At least he went out fighting for what he loved.
So....is anyone else FASCINATED by the Adamas form? It's just so unique compared to other transformations. It's skinny and thin, yet still has well defined muscles and combined with his thin figure and stretched skin, it really gives off a type of 'divine despair' if that makes sense
In Adamas' form, Zeus's muscles are compressed and enforced to their very limits. It's like you pressed steel bar into steel cube that takes at least ten times less place than when in bar form - it is significantly smaller, but also much more dense and, therefore, durable. However, the actual durability of that cube is also affected by the state of original material - if the steel used to make the cube is soft, or damaged, the cube won't be as strong nor durable as if the steel wasn't damaged. The same applies to Zeus and his Adamas transformation; he compresses his muscles to their limits, maximizing the damage output of his attacks by powering his physical capabilities and decreasing the "area" of his attacks, therefore focusing the damage on the small area rather than large, which would spread the damage across. But... Zeus has already took a large beating beforehand, and he wasn't in top shape; he was still unbelievably powerful and dangerous, especially when in Adamas form, but I'm afraid that wasn't his actual full might; it was even said that he wouldn't last more than 5 minutes in Adamas form, when normally, he could hold around 15 minutes without problems. Nevertheless, it is extremely effective, so much so that Shiva claimed that Adamas Zeus could destroy the entire Heaven, and that speaks a lot considering he's the Strongest God of Destruction and Heaven's Greatest Brawler.

Technically speaking, Shiva was supposed to fight Adam, meaning Brunnhilde had already planned to pick Adam to fight Shiva, but everything goes out the window when Zeus decides he wants to fight second. But if Zeus hadn't skipped his turn, then that means Brunn was planning or at least had someone else in mind to fight Zeus. If so, who would've been that human that Brunnhilde had in mind to fight Zeus
(spoilers) . . . . . . . . . I would say Nostradamus or Qin Shi Huang. Qin Shi Huang is the "first emperor of China" so he is technically the king of humans, meanwhile Zeus is the king of gods (making a greatest parallelism than Hades/Qin). Nostradamus is described as the "humanity joker" so he would fit to be Zeus' opponent.

Pretty much, Adam was pretty much unscathed until the fight reached that point, even considering the difference between human and god, it makes little sense for Adam to reach his limit when he did.

So... Adam was the strongest fighter of all humans ? i mean he is Adam, the one who reflects God. He was "made" after God. And had the most op ability of all. To be honest the only "magical" ability we saw so far from the humans side.
When Rock Lee (from Naruto) got up to continue to fight in his match against Gaara, even though he was literally broken and unconscious, I thought, "that's a bad-ass fighter!" From that point, I have never really thought of anyone who could surpass that feat. Then I saw Adam. 😱😱😱
Adam didn't die from Zeus's punches he died from overheating he overused his eyes which allowed him to copy and dodge the god's abilities which no mortal should be able to do so he went blind exhausting them and then when he finally caught Zeus's hair he continued to use his ability to hit Zeus at the same speed causing his body to overheat and die but even after kicking the bucket his body kept swinging and remained standing at the end only because of how strong Adams convictions were to want to protect humanity.
Why does every video on youtube cut out all the best part of the animation? It's like everyone is conspirisng against this anime. (Like for Example, Adamas Zues punch at the start of the video...every video I find cuts away that part before we see the full animation).
Now I see the Adamas transformation was never meant to actually for raw power or stuff to defeat Adam but for pulling Adam down to his limit Knowing he would copy it
I was so sad when we all realized Adam died. I was so hyped that Adam would kill Zeus but i think if he didnt get blinded by the blood, i bet he would've probably won.
The blood dropping in his eyes isn't the thing that mess him up it just there to symbolise that Adam has reached his limit. As the blood reach his eyes you could see blood coming out of his eyes, nose etc because of the overheat.
Waiting for Leonidas.. pretty sure he will be the first human to outmuscle a god.. and will make another Adam style speech of uniting humans.. I can see him fighting when humanity is 1 lose away and are feeling hopeless..
Literally the only fight in the series where Humanity had the advantage and the Gods were fighting in the underdog position. Also the only fight where the Volund had no abilities whatsoever, his weapon did nothing but give him the means to hurt Zeus, everything else was purely Adam's abilities. You can definitely see why Brynhildr considered him the greatest Ace in her deck, Adam would have absolutely slaughtered Shiva if Zeus hadn't stolen his spot. Just sad that this fight kind of wrecks the premises of all the fights after.....Zeus vs Adam was the top-dog fight, right at the start. There was no other God after this that could have defeated Adam with his mimic counter ability (Shiva arguably has a chance, maybe.....his technique being a constantly ramping up dance, his next moment always supersedes the last, so mimic and counter might not work out as well), and there was no Human who could beat Zeus with his Time-Stop punch and his Adamas form. Every fight after this is thematic only, because we already saw the absolute pinnacle in round 2.
Not it was a clear case of plot armor, Zeus was way more hurt, tired and before entering his adamas form he had failed to land one single attack. It doesn't matter that Adam is Human and can reach his limit first, because Zeus was treated like a beaten up rag, it would be literally impossible for him to last longer than Adam. It's not even a matter of who is naturally stronger. People forget that even just being beaten up already spends ones energy, specially when Zeus had to heal himself many times over.

Pretty much, Adam was pretty much unscathed until the fight reached that point, even considering the difference between human and god, it makes little sense for Adam to reach his limit when he did.

The problem with that is Adam doesn't know any weapons as you know he existed at the beginning and weapons wasn't really a thing for him

Adam was the strongest fighter of all humans ? i mean he is Adam, the one who reflects God.
He was "made" after God. And had the most op ability of all. To be honest the only "magical" ability we saw so far from the humans side.
He was the strongest yes, but he went against the strongest god we've seen so far. This was essentially the final boss fight shown early

Adam didn't die from Zeus's punches he died from overheating he overused his eyes which allowed him to copy and dodge the god's abilities which no mortal should be able to do so he went blind exhausting them and then when he finally caught Zeus's hair he continued to use his ability to hit Zeus at the same speed causing his body to overheat and die but even after kicking the bucket his body kept swinging and remained standing at the end only because of how strong Adams convictions were to want to protect humanity.
Even when he died he continued throwing punches 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Why does every video on youtube cut out all the best part of the animation? It's like everyone is conspirisng against this anime. (Like for Example, Adamas Zues punch at the start of the video...every video I find cuts away that part before we see the full animation).

The blood dropping in his eyes isn't the thing that mess him up it just there to symbolise that Adam has reached his limit. As the blood reach his eyes you could see blood coming out of his eyes, nose etc because of the overheat.

Literally the only fight in the series where Humanity had the advantage and the Gods were fighting in the underdog position. Also the only fight where the Volund had no abilities whatsoever, his weapon did nothing but give him the means to hurt Zeus, everything else was purely Adam's abilities. You can definitely see why Brynhildr considered him the greatest Ace in her deck, Adam would have absolutely slaughtered Shiva if Zeus hadn't stolen his spot.
Just sad that this fight kind of wrecks the premises of all the fights after.....Zeus vs Adam was the top-dog fight, right at the start. There was no other God after this that could have defeated Adam with his mimic counter ability (Shiva arguably has a chance, maybe.....his technique being a constantly ramping up dance, his next moment always supersedes the last, so mimic and counter might not work out as well), and there was no Human who could beat Zeus with his Time-Stop punch and his Adamas form. Every fight after this is thematic only, because we already saw the absolute pinnacle in round 2.

Bruh Adam would have won if zeus did not get his blood in Adams eye which caused it to overheat so he could no longer use it
Not it was a clear case of plot armor, Zeus was way more hurt, tired and before entering his adamas form he had failed to land one single attack. It doesn't matter that Adam is Human and can reach his limit first, because Zeus was treated like a beaten up rag, it would be literally impossible for him to last longer than Adam. It's not even a matter of who is naturally stronger. People forget that even just being beaten up already spends ones energy, specially when Zeus had to heal himself many times over.

You can say that gods are just that durable, but we saw that one punch from Adam knock Zeus's head 180 degrees, and we're to expect that he was totally fine tanking all of that, yet Adam, who was blocking Zeus's attacks, is the one to die first. Yeah, right, sure
