Dying to skeletons, creepers and even zombies can often happen early game … but throwing yourself off a cliff in the hope of surviving, that’s just super crazy. I’d say you had a great start despite dying a few times. I love the play style, adventurous, easily distracted and with a little bit of craziness and bravery thrown in for good measure.
Yeah the cliff yeet was a slim shot but hey, that's what survival instead of hardcore is for XD Glad you enjoyed the playstyle! I'm having a ton of fun in this world✨

Could use haybales as Tatami mats, aka woven straw mats used as floor mats and beds and could also use birch trapdoors as wall partitions since japanese wall partitions are made of white non-see thru paper hung on wooden frames. Just a thought for later. really wish they would add in dyeable glowstone, sea lanterns and clay pots for plants. More of a home and garden update. Also they gave us a cherry biome but no cherries to pick or cherry pie. so sad.
Wow im obsessed with the house you made! I’ve been to Japan before and I think you did an incredible job recreating some of the features of a Japanese styled house. I also have some recommendations for what to name the parrot! Gertrude, crackers, pickles (it was the name of my childhood parrot who died), and blue! I think these make for some adorable names, and I’m excited for this series ❤😊

I don't know if you've seen it yet but you can make another block out of bamboo which is bamboo mosaic. It's made out of bamboo planks and looks absolutely amazing. I'm sure you'd love it, Red😊

I'm new around here and I loved your video! I think the fact that you died so many times is refreshing. So many streamers don't really showcase the unfortunate events that take place. I think it makes your experience more realistic to us regular players. I also am a little ashamed to say that I never thought to use boats to get the leads from the wandering trader. >.< I recently learned that if you just let him do his thing long enough, they'll break as well. I got 2 yesterday in my game and I didn't touch him or his llamas. I love your house! The only thing I would be worried about is mobs spawning on the roof or balcony. Do you block spawns in some way? I also didn't realize they added so much to bamboo for uses! Thank you for showcasing all of that!

I know everyone loves to hate on beetroot seeds in chests and the roots as a crop, but they're actually a top-tier early game item to find. Not for eating; beetroot soup sucks. Very bad borscht; lousy recipe. But they're an ideal crop for farming pigs and chickens for food; seeds for your hens and tubers for the hogs~
When I get my Xbox back I might take inspiration from your house depending on what my world would be like bc I would like to stay relatively close to spawn
